brothers
Kirpianuscus16 December 2023
Two brothers. The older helps his sibling to install in.dorm room. The film offers only their talk , defining their past, fears, experiences, relation with mother and steps to maturity, testing / defining, in fact, their relation.

Beautiful acting, minimalistic space, for manz viewers, no doubts, boring in serious sense, it is that sort of film proposing to audience not exactly a story but a serious fist of questions.

In short, I admitt, just I like it. For the interesting work of young Henry Wilson and Henry Fisk, for the kick to reflection about the relation with my brother , for the smart way to explore not the most comfortable subjects and, indeed, for the end, including the mirror and the song.

Claustrophobic

Warning: Spoilers
The entire movie takes place in a tiny, sparse dormitory room. The 2 characters are brothers having a conversation/argument. The younger brother is a pouty, depressing snot. The older brother tries to lift his spirits. It is never revealed why the young snot is such a terrible person. Throughout the movie, I hoped he would kill himself and end his suffering and ours. He could have dove out the high-rise window or stuck an ice pick through his eye. But we are not that lucky. He has a haircut like Moe of the 3 Stooges and looks very mentally challenged. He seems to have mother issues. He is very unlikeable. He deserves to have very bad things happen to himself.
