Small Package

NGO is back on form after a bit of a lull. The episodes with the children in just aren't as funny as the grown up situations. Nice to have it back on the box.

Lee is expecting to receive his new mobile phone. When a package is delivered it turns out to be an appendage enlarger and it was not addressed for him.

It turns out that the package was meant for his new neighbour opposite. Lee goes to introduce himself and deliver the package.

Only to find neighbour Stuart, introduces Lee to his wife, children and parents. Not the right time to hand over the enlarger.

The episode is an excruciating farce as both Lee and Lucy try to remedy the situation which includes ordering another enlarger. Even Toby has to pretend to be a delivery man when it turns out that he is also Stuart's doctor.

There was one issue I had. There is no way I was convinced that Lee did not know what that implement was!

Lee is desperate to receive his new phone, he opens up a parcel, believing it to be his phone, only it's not, it's something a neighbour had ordered.

Absolutely brilliant, talk about this show coming at the right time, after a brilliant Christmas episode, Series 11 opens up with a side splitter.

To take such a simple idea, and make thirty minutes of the best comedy I have seen in a long time, bravo Lee Mack, and all involved, this was absolutely superb. More jokes about willies than you could shake a stick at, double entendres galore, it's like Carry on not going out.

I hope we see more of Stuart, Tony Gardner is such a funny man, he's one of the best in Last Tango in Halifax.

2021 is all the better for this, thank you Lee, and all involved.

This is an example of the type of episode that 'Not Going Out' does really well.

A simple comic issues gradually gets more out of control, building to well played farce.

Great stuff.

The funniest, most farcical episode I've seen.

A mix of confusion, embarrassment, lies, mistakes and mayhem.

You won't stop laughing throughout this episode. Adult themes- not for children.
