I really enjoyed this episode. It was great to see our big blackout again, those were fun times. I think they chose a right time to put this story in.

I as really liked the conversation Erica had with Josh. So he never really loved Sam, it was her he fell in love with and thats the reason he got with Sam in the first place. I hope this fact will be used in the future.

What I really liked about this episode is that here was no happy ending, at last not for now. Maybe telling Sam the truth was the right thing, but since it happened on the wedding day it hurt their relationship. It was a great scene

Much different tone and regret

This episode is much different than other ones (so far) in that it deals with a regret that doesn't directly involve Erica life. Also, unlike other regrets, this particular regret of Erica isn't causing her to fail in life.

It's also interesting that going back to 2003 and did something differently ultimately had no effect in the course of history. Maybe this show that Sam and Josh are meant to be, and Erica should have the comfort of knowing choosing to get involved or not had no effect on the outcome.

While short, the conversation between Erica and Dr. Tom at the end is very intelligent and philosophical. We should always strive to do the right thing. But keep in mind that the right thing may be not feel good, and may not lead to a happy ending.
