They often don't see eye to eye in any matter due to their differences in opinion which creates a string of tension in their relationship. Jeevanantham and his narcissistic nature often hurt Arun with his harsh unfaithful words. Arun is unable to secure the college hostel accommodation due to his low merits. Hence, he looks for an accommodation outside of his campus and ends up renting a room in an apartment owned by Dr. Ranjitha. Jeevanantham is clearly unhappy with the situation as he needs to pay higher rent for his son's new accommodation creating a rift between father and son. In his new apartment, Arun has two other housemates to share the space with besides Dr. Ranjitha. The first being Bheema, a fitness instructor, a highly optimistic person driven by positive thoughts. The other housemate is Kumar, an irritating freelancer who always creates nuisance in the house with his reckless actions. Arun becomes Kumar's roommate and they both don't get along as they have nothing in common. Movement Control Order (MCO) is enforced by the government to control the spread of Corona Virus a few days after Arun settles in. As Arun conveys his intention to return to the family home, Jeevanantham makes a harsh remark on how he has to unnecessarily pay rent for a room he is not residing and further comments that Arun might bring the virus back home endangering them. These words trigger tension between both of them and Arun replies rudely and ends the conversation saying he will stay back at his new place. The current events are not so favorable to Arun as he is locked down with a front liner, a fitness freak and an irritating roommate. Their crazy shenanigans and unruly behavior drives Arun insane. In the midst of this silliness, a cute romance bloom between Arun and Thivya, a girl he first met in the lift and later found out that she lives in the opposite unit. They often communicate from balcony to balcony. As the MCO period extends, Arun better understands his housemates as he adapts and learns how to live with them. He gets closer and more comfortable with each one of them. Eventually he starts to realize that each character he met during MCO are fractions of his father's personality. They indirectly make him understand his father better. The distance and separation made him crave for better bonding with his father. The story then takes a shift as Thivya, Bheema and Kumar help Arun to get back to his family home and end the dispute between the father and son.
