Coming from a ballet/film background myself, I watched this film with perhaps a more critical eye than an average viewer. Not too many documentaries (especially about the ballet) can pull you in as well as this one does. You can truly feel the joy, the struggle, the stress and every other emotional fiber of your body that accompany each character in this unique interpretation of such a classic story.
I love how the camera seems to be there (obviously) but not to the point that would constrain the artists in their interaction behind the stage. I could really feel as if I myself was invited to take part in their journey.
Editing too, top notch.
