It takes place in the French creole community, very rare in the French movie industry, except LE GANG DES ANTILLAIS, back in 2016. It is a story about racism and identity, and made by a Creole pf course. A social little film very well made, not corny as LE GANG... was for instance. And it takes place in the late eighties.
