The mansion, sitting atop a hill in Westchester County, New York, could be mistaken for any number of homes in the area, save for one little, er, big, thing.
In the driveway, feet from the front door, there is the battered severed head of a giant Sentinel, one of the antagonists to the X-Men.
The house, overlooking rolling hills north of New York City, was until recently a residential home. For a few months however, Airbnb is taking it over, turning the home into a recreation of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, as featured specifically in the Marvel Animation series X-Men ’97.
That includes an interior that has been meticulously hand-painted so as to appear two-dimensional, as in the cartoon, with the bedrooms, Professor X’s office, Beast’s lab, and even a “danger room” available for guests to explore.

“The mutants are coming. The bell has been rung.” – Yes, that famous dialogue from Batman V Superman has been modified, but it perfectly fits with what Deadpool & Wolverine is about to bring to the theatres. The Deadpool threequel will officially introduce mutants in the MCU’s continuity, and the X-Men fans can’t be more hyped!
Storm in X-Men ’97
As soon as it was confirmed that the mutants were coming to the main timeline, fans began looking up at the possible casting choices for their favorite X-Men. And one of the most popular X-Men characters is Storm aka Ororo Munroe, who happens to be one of their strongest heroes.
Deadpool 3 will be bringing back a number of mutants from the Fox movies, and it is more than likely that Marvel will reboot the older continuity and introduce younger actors as the quintessential X-Men after that. And we have...

The recently-released final trailer for X-Men '97 featured a joke that poked fun at the costumes in the Fox live-action movies.
The series has been well-received by many fans since its premiere last March due to being a satisfying continuation of the original series and its impressive storytelling and animation style.
It has also received praise for being faithful to the source material since the character design is similar to the comics, unlike the live-action movies which introduced a different costume and style for the team.

X-Men is one of Marvel’s most popular superhero teams. The team arguably comes 2nd in popularity right after The Avengers as the latter has gained a lot of admiration and acclaim since their live-action adaptation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Wolverine is arguably one of the most popular X-Men characters and the character is all set to make his MCU debut later this year in the highly anticipated movie, Deadpool & Wolverine. However, it is still highly unlikely that we will be seeing Logan on the big screen with his daughter, Rien.

Hugh Jackman arguably has the record for the longest tenure of an actor playing a superhero over the years. Since 2000’s X-Men, the actor has played Wolverine for almost 24 years and is returning once again in the upcoming MCU film Deadpool & Wolverine. Before this, the X-Men had its own universe separate from the MCU at 20th Century Fox.

The Tim-Story Fantastic Four films also existed within the Fox-Marvel ventures but were separate from the X-Men universe. However, a deleted scene featuring a morphed version of Jackman from the 2005 Fantastic Four film shows how the two properties almost merged and started an interconnected universe long before the MCU.

Marvel has been through a lot of ups and downs post-Endgame. After a series of bombs at the box office, things are finally looking hopeful for the comic book giant after taking a back-to-basics approach. Bringing back the beloved X-Men cartoon from the 1990s was a slick move, as it brought back a lot of fans who had lost faith after consecutive failures like The Marvels and She-Hulk.

It was not common for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to dive into television-based content before Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Joss Whedon had a part to play in it. Stemming from the first Avengers movie, the show was an idea no one had explored before. It laid the foundation of what the franchise could do outside of just the big screen and its success was the hope that no one knew they really needed.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Whedon may not be getting much attention as of late, but there is a lot that he contributed to the making of the series. He may be given most of the credit for the show, but his brother and his sister-in-law had a part to play in it too, bigger than him even.

X-Men ’97: Captain America Returns ( Photo Credit – Disney+ Hotstar )
Every Marvel fan is currently busy binging on the X-Men ’97 series. The premise of the animated series picks up where the 1990s X-Men: The Animated Series ends. The MCU series is created by Beau DeMayo. So far, seven episodes have dropped on Disney+ Hotstar. In the latest episode, ‘Bright Eyes’, the team has brought back Steve Rogers, aka Captain America.
In MCU movies, Chris Evans, who played Steve Rogers, is probably dead after Avengers: Endgame. But seeing the Cap return in X-Men ’97 made the Marvel fans happy. However, not everyone is pleased with the way they treated him in the animated series. Fans are unhappy with how the makers showed Steve’s alignment towards the government when he stood against their wrongdoings in movies. It’s a scene between Rogue (voiced by Lenore Zann) and Cap (Josh Keaton) that has got the reactions.

In 2022, horror director Ti West released his homage to the slasher films of the past, simply titled X. The first of a trilogy, X was a critical and box office hit. Now the trilogy is about to be completed with a number of big-name actors, including Kevin Bacon – in a role that may create an in-universe paradox.
The Trilogy Kicks Off
2022's X takes place in 1979, and follows aspiring film producer Wayne Gilroy (Martin Henderson) and his much younger girlfriend Maxine (Mia Goth) who dreams of being a movie star. Along with a small crew, Gilroy rents out a building on a farm run by an elderly couple, not telling them that they are making a pornographic feature.
When elderly farmower Pearl (also played by Mia Goth) is drawn to Maxine's resemblance to her younger self, she is reminded of her lost youth and her own dreams of superstardom. Pearl...

While the cameos do not significantly affect the overall plot of the episode they still serve as a nice nod to the larger universe the X-Men inhibit. Wolverine is the best at what he does. And what he does is self-loathing and swear words. At least, that’s what we see in the latest trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, courtesy of a returning Hugh Jackman seemingly as the only surviving X-Man from his universe.
The third Deadpool movie has long promised to be an R-rated reunion for 20th Century Fox mutants and a way to bring the X-Men into the MCU, so far the teasers are delivering just that. The first trailer was a cameo-fest full of Deadpool‘s supporting cast and other Fox characters, as well as a few Fox X-Men villains. The second trailer continues this trend, but focuses more on Wolverine. Along the way, we get some deep Marvel winks, many of which fly by so quickly that it takes enhanced senses to catch them.

Wanda was never just a character in the MCU. She started out a villain, became a hero, became a hero with a tragic backstory, lost everything, and circled back to being a villain until eventually becoming sort of a hero again by destroying Darkhold and supposedly taking her own life.
Now even the ending of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ was pretty open-ended, and the official statements on the matter really did nothing to answer the question – is Wanda still alive within the MCU?
Most fans, including me, believe that collapsing debris can’t really do much against Nexus being with such a Multiversal potential, after all, we’ve seen Wanda tanking far worse, so she will likely return. Recently, there’s been a few rumors circling that she is going to get her own standalone movie, even if that doesn’t happen, there are a few projects in which she could return,...

The episode provides a first look into a major villain with blood ties to the leader of the X-Men, Cyclops. While Scott and Alex were believed to be the only Summers brothers, Marvel Comics introduced a third one, Gabriel Summers aka Vulcan, in X-Men: Deadly Genesis.

Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel is a movie star. "The Marvels" has been cited as another sign of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's fall from dominance, but everyone loves young actor Iman Vellani as this spunky heroine. /Film even named Kamala the best movie hero of 2023 and proclaimed her the future of the MCU.
Of course, Kamala comes from Marvel Comics and was co-created by G. Willow Wilson, Sana Amanat, Stephen Wacker, Adrian Alphona, and Jamie McKelvie. The comics made a bizarre move of synergy in 2023; between Kamala's Disney+ show "Ms. Marvel" and the theatrical run of "The Marvels," she heroically dies in "Amazing Spider-Man" #26 (by Zeb Wells and John Romita Jr.), published in May 2023.
Wells' "Amazing Spider-Man" isn't exactly a fan-favorite (the stink of breaking up Peter and Mj has carried across his run) and this was a low point. It was the cheapest of cheap melodrama and Kamala perished while pulling guest star duty.
Of course, Kamala comes from Marvel Comics and was co-created by G. Willow Wilson, Sana Amanat, Stephen Wacker, Adrian Alphona, and Jamie McKelvie. Deadpool & Wolverine is set to be the sensation that defines the fate of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The apocalyptic dread that engulfed the superhero universe and its real-life counterpart will soon stand witness to a cinematic phenomenon that will not only appreciate the true extent of the multiverse but exploit all of its strengths and quirks to deliver a box-office sensation.

However, fear begins to set in when one realizes the pitfalls of such a promising feature film from the studio that brought us Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Secret Invasion. After the post-Endgame spell almost drove Marvel into the ground, Deadpool & Wolverine stands at the murky border separating hope and despair for a fandom that once, quite literally, hero-worshipped the comic-book-movie industry before it turned into one of the most divisive and unreliable creators of all time.

This X-Men ’97 article contains spoilers.
Life has never been easy for the X-Men, or any mutant in the Marvel Universe. They’re feared and hated, oppressed just for being alive. They’re betrayed time and again, even by heroes who call themselves their friends.
But in the history of the X-Men, there are three stories that stand out as particularly heartbreaking: Mutant Massacre, E is for Extinction, and Fall of X. And the latest episode of X-Men ’97 just combined them all into one shocking half-hour full of deaths.
“Remember It” begins as a love letter to all things X-Men, as Magneto, Rogue, and Gambit head to the island nation of Genosha. Once the home of an oppressive human regime (modeled in the original comics after Apartheid South Africa), Genosha has become a home for mutants, a sovereign nation under mutant rule. The initial trailer for MaXXXine has been released ahead of its highly anticipated premiere in theaters this summer.
This new installment in the X series marks the third entry, following the original film and its prequel Pearl, both released in 2022.
Returning as the protagonist Maxine, Mia Goth reprises her role as the adult film actress who emerged as the lone survivor of the events depicted in X. However, this time, she’s supported by an impressive ensemble cast.
Among the cast are Giancarlo Esposito from Better Call Saul, Lily Collins from Emily in Paris, Elizabeth Debicki from The Crown, Bobby Cannavale from Ant-Man and The Wasp, and the iconic Kevin Bacon.
While X was set at the end of the 1970s in rural Texas, this film moves the action into the ’80s and to the glamour of Los Angeles, as Maxine attempts to pursue a career as a big Hollywood starlet.

Two years after Ti West's "X" unleashed aspiring movie star and blood-soaked final girl Maxine (Mia Goth) into the world, she's back in the first trailer for "MaXXXine" -- and closer than ever to achieving her dream. "You're a f**king movie star," she whispers to herself in the mirror at the end of the film's just-released first trailer, and it's easy to believe her.
A few years after driving away from the Texas farmhouse where she was nearly killed, Maxine Minx has rebranded herself as a bombshell blonde in double denim, and she's quickly building a resume in the adult film industry. The movie seems to kick off with Maxine earning a role in a legitimate horror movie, but her aspirations are soon threatened by something neither the women who work alongside her in L.A.'s sex work scene nor fans of West's franchise saw coming: the L.

Solar eclipses, like the upcoming one on April 8, are a well-documented scientific phenomenon. As early as 763 Bce, ancient Assyrians were charting the process by which the path of the moon temporarily obstructs the sun, and astronomers have continued to do so for thousands of years since. Our knowledge of eclipses predates our knowledge of gravity, algebra, and toilet paper. We are well aware of their existence, and we are well aware of what causes them. (I mean, I personally am not, but other people ostensibly are.)

When Hugh Jackman bid farewell to his iconic role as Wolverine in the 2017 flick Logan, fans were struck by a bittersweet feeling. The movie proved to be an appropriate goodbye to the much-loved character, revealing a more vulnerable and emotional side to the clawed mutant. However, what many fans might not know is that The Wolverine couldn’t have taken place if Fox had adhered to their original plan to have Darren Aronofsky helm the 2013 flick.
The Wolverine, a sequel to X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), was originally slated to be directed by Aronofsky, who is best known for his dark and intense movies like Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream. But, as fate would have it, the director eventually dropped out of the project in order to allow James Mangold to step in and take the reins.

Helldivers 2 can be full of goofy moments. At one moment, you might be blasting your friends into the outer layers of space, and at another, you might forget to throw your grenade and find pieces scattered across the planet. But, sometimes, things get too eerie to even make sense of.

A fan favorite X-Men villain returns along with the almost forgotten campy moniker of one of the core X-Men team members, as the third episode of X-Men’97 maintains the strong momentum initiated by the first couple of episodes of the series. Previously, the narrative followed the eponymous team of mutants a year after the death of their beloved mentor and leader, Professor Charles Xavier, and in his absence, Scott took on the responsibilities of leadership. As the team has their plates full while tackling the dual threat of the mutant hate group “Friends of Humanity” and Boliver Trask’s mutant exterminating abominations, an expectant Jean proposes the idea of leaving the team to Scott—for their unborn child’s sake.

Whatever the shortcomings in her baddie banter, the Goblin Queen makes up for it with evil powers. Wild as these transformations are, they have nothing on the comic book storyline that inspired it.

While live-action adaptations have brought some of the best characters to the screen, the comic book realm still boasts a plethora of elements and characters that can easily outshine even the most beloved favorites from both the DC and Marvel universes.
One such X-Men mutant is Elixir, who could easily rival Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. Although some who are deep into the lore may recognize Elixir, many wouldn’t. Here’s why this mutant surpasses Wolverine in more ways than one.

Fear of the unknown is always a reliable go-to when it comes to horror. And throwing something even more mysterious like aliens into the mix only adds to it. Admittedly, MicroProse’s classic 1994 PC turn-based strategy game X-com: UFO Defence (or UFO: Enemy Unknown for you fans in the UK) isn’t pure horror, but it definitely did have that psychological terror and that “just one more turn” addictiveness that kept you coming back for more during your playthrough. At the same time, it also held a sense of dread from the very real potential that you could lose it all from an unseen alien threat that was hiding in the shadows (or right behind you). After all, that dread kept the series going for multiple entries, and even led to the series’ rebirth by 2K in 2012.

It seems we that Disney is almost there with the reopening of Splash Mountain as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Imagineers were spotted in the ride vehicles as they tested out the attraction.
@DrewDisneyDude posted a video on X.
A Major milestone for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World, as Walt Disney Imagineering project team members are test riding the attraction for the first time! pic.twitter.com/O17Hz3Duk6

Previously, it was reported that Disney put signs up indicating testing was going on with the attraction. My guess is that people saw the water and ride vehicles and kept asking Cast Members if it was open.
@DrewDisneyDude also posted an image of that as well.

The mantle of Captain America has been passed to Anthony Mackie’s Falcon, marking a new chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). After inheriting the shield from Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, Wilson’s journey as Captain America began in the 2021 series “Falcon and the Winter Soldier.”
Anthony Mackie || Captain America: Civil War
There, he worked alongside some talented stars like Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes) and Daniel Brühl (Baron Zemo). As Marvel has forayed from the TV to the movies and will focus more on Captain America, there are fewer chances of these two actors making a bigger impact in the future. Thus, their absence will be felt, not only by fans but by Mackie as well.

A Marvel project has received the studio’s first perfect Rotten Tomatoes score since the launch of the MCU.
Disney+’s newly launched animated series X-Men ’97 has a very rare 100 percent “Fresh” rating.
While many of the reviewers are from more niche fan-focused sites than for a typical live-action show or feature film, the score nonetheless edges out Marvel’s other top-scored projects like 2022’s Ms. Marvel (98 percent), 2018’s Black Panther (96 percent), 2013’s Marvel’s Agents of Shield (95 percent) and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame (94 percent).
Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97, which premiered Wednesday, reboots 1992’s X-Men: The Animated Series. From the official descriptions: X-Men ’97 “revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.”
