A Hero's Journey with Amazing Footage of Tribal Cultures
brianlberman10 September 2021
Tahi shows an archetypal hero's journey. The movie invites us into uncharted waters and adventures, fully immersing in it. Leaving the comfort zone of Western lifestyle and exploring new territory invites us all to engage in an inner search.

The movie is heart-warming in showing indigenous tribes and their cultures, their connectedness, care, togetherness and the importance of their community. These beautiful humans are without filters or masks, being proud of who they are. This movie touches the viewer to look within and step into their true power and essence, while letting go of everything that they are not.

So unbelievable necessary!
amandamcdowell9 January 2021
We all need to see this film and reconnect to ourselves, our heart and our human need for connection and belonging. We are hard wired to know ourselves through our connections. We feel deprived, depressed, anxious about what is wrong with s when what really need is each other. Thank you so much for making this film and for all the dedication it has taked to see it through to be able to show us! AMAZING!!!

The Heart Connection
fullyloadedpictures14 January 2021
Most films of this sort are subject-object, here the filmmaker immerses herself in the experience and we feel the heart connection.

Inspiring

Beautiful, heartwarming, and inspiring film. Amazing footage from remote parts of the world, and beautiful story-telling. This film shines light on the tragedy of our disconnected modern culture, while offering a glimpse into the possibilities for living on this earth in a more connected, loving way. Amazing to see footage from such beautiful distant parts of the world, and to hear the unique stories of individuals in those places, get a glimpse into some of the unique cultural practices there, and feel a rare sense of intimacy with folks whose lives are so profoundly different from ours in the west.

A beautiful film. I was so moved to see the filmmaker connect in such a deeply personal way to the people of the tribes. We are given an unusual opportunity to participate intimately in the lives of these deeply content people. I am humbled and inspired.

Heartwarming

This was so beautifully done. So inspiring and touching to view the lives of people on this planet that have not been tainted by the laws of government and society. Made me cry and laugh and touched my heart!

I really hope many people can see this and want to learn more about different cultures and traditions and view all the human race as brothers and sisters! The overall message is that we are all one and to have love and compassion and kindness for all walks of life!

I hope these tribes can stay true to themselves and they will live freely for centuries to come!

A must-see for all ages! Yay!

Connecting the Head to the Heart of our world!
mammacarm7 June 2022
Karina Duffy has touched deeply into the universal tribe of us! She has engaged the various tribes into a "One" family! Where else do we have to go to experience the journey of this amazing filmmaker? In our lifetime, this is a ONCE ! Her interaction with the "travelers" reached deep into their souls, touching the path they travel with a depth unknown in our present time. With so much uncertainty, Karina has re-connected the many who, until this time, were unknown! A Must to be viewed worldwide! Schools ,senior centers, Congress, just anyone who believes that we can and should be ONE ! My heart yearns for this beautiful concept of connection~~~Shall we always be distant , or are we ready to do the HUMAN JOURNEY? I believe so...now is the time, THIS IS THE MOMENT! Mammacarm4.

Wonderful documentary!
I really enjoyed watching this documentary, I didn't want to end. It was very Enjoyable and educational at the same time seeing how other cultures around the world tie in! Tahi! Hopefully there is a sequel to this documentary! Spectacular filming On the part of the camera crew, excellent film overall, highly recommended. I like how at the end of the film. It explains what Tahi is this film was very eye-opening to me, it gets you to Reflect on if you're choosing the right Priorities, seeing the big picture in life, sometimes we get carried away with small worries, documentary it shows you people that have to work every day to be able to feed themselves, excellent overall!

Inspiring film for these time- A MUST SEE
kiakaha-3761014 January 2021
This film was such an inspiring film to see for these times of separation. Teaches us to the ancient traditions of the indigenous and that connection is always key in their tribe. My heart became wide open during the watching of this film as the cinematography is so touching. The way it has been captured you feel like you are really there with the tribes. The 4 stories of interconnection wove together beautifully and the main character as she searches for connection spoke to my own heart. I would totally recommend it if you want a good travel film about human connection this is the ONE!

A Journey to Oneness
typepatrick24 September 2022
Imagine a world where there is deeper understanding, connection and Love. By looking at cultures, people and nature in various places on this Earth we find beauty and heartfelt connections. This film is such an inspiration. The cinematography is stunning and there are wonderful glimpses into the lives of people not often presented in films. The smiles, tears and joy of existence come alive in this film. Karina brings a re-evaluation of what is truly important in life through sharing with us her personal journey and transformation. The solution is within each of us, not looking outside ourselves.

Beautiful film! Karina's ability to connect with the tribes on an intimate level was very present in the stories told about these amazing people. Excellent pacing, there was a thread of unity through the different tribes that felt very universal.

Two Arcs Make a Circle
momandabe12 November 2023
When I recommended this excellent film to my daughter, she asked if it was a documentary.

I told her I wasn't sure there was such a genre as Personal Documentary but Tahi - The Human Journey would fit right in, and that it was a story of connections she would love to watch.

The arc of Ms. Duffy's story soars from her own place of loss in the United States to distant points across the globe. There she offers detailed portraits of individual lives of remote peoples. Sharing these portraits before arcing back to Ms. Duffy's own point of departure leaves the viewer with the comfort of a World Hug.
