Love and Lost

Gripping whodunit drama

The series Love and Lost, otherwise entitled To Love, should probably have been named Love and Drugs or Anti-Drug Hero or some such to indicate that this is much more than a love story.

While the love story between restaurant owner Yan Jin (Kenny Lin Gengxin) and cafe owner Ji Xiao Ou (Cass Gai) is breathtakingly romantic, Yan Jin's investigation into the death of his close friend six years ago takes this drama to a whole new level.

The twists and turns of the investigation feel like being on a rollercoaster ride to find the culprit. There even comes a point when suspicion turns to Yan Jin himself. The noose gets tighter when a young informant who is another admirer of Xiao Ou's is murdered and Yan Jin becomes the prime suspect. Is Yan Jin guilty?

A beautiful story about comradeship, loyalty, love

I've been a fan of Kenny Lin since Princess agents! This actor Is so versatile and can be serious, can be funny, and can make you cry. This series brings out that versatility and brings out his acting skills, as well as his good looks. This series is a must watch for lovers of a good mystery plot with a twist you don't see coming. The episodes are 45 mins long and you always want to watch the next episode even when you have so much to do! There are 40 episodes but they go so quickly you'll be wondering where the hell the time went. I highly recommend this! The songs are sentimental and beautiful too.
