Could have been a better movie without songs and lag

1st half was slow but decent..2nd half is way to slow..wait for OTT release so that you can skip those songs..Ritu Varma looked Gorgeous and Naga Shourya looked decent..there was some parts which were lagged in the 2nd half..otherwise a decent movie.

Varudu kaavalenu is a decent romantic comedy and it knows that. The plot is undeniably predictable and has been done before. But what really works for me here is the female lead character, who has a distinct personality, and is portrayed as self-reliant and hardworking, which is rare in these flicks where it's the female characters who are throwing themselves at the male lead. I'm not fully invested in their romance though or the story for that matter but i thought the film does well in terms of showcasing the both the characters flaws. The acting is decent. The film is visual pleasing which is a plus. Overall, a good enough romantic comedy to pass the time.

Story is too predictable..lead pair are eye candy so the movie was watchable.. lagging in few scenes.. every frame in the film is grand and richly organized for example office looks more like a restaurant and too many antiques are placed and hostel room is a joke not all the rooms in hostels are decorated that way...only digu digu naga song is good remaining songs can be skipped.. watched in zee 5.

Moral of movie: Never prank on you girlfriend and if you did explain it to her properly!

Clearly most of the sequences seem familiar, and some dialogues as well. Director Kiran Korrapati should have found a new story. There are enough available.

For the silver linings now, Thaman has delivered 9/10 on music. Especially the lingering song "O Babu ! What to do". Naga Shourya and Ritu Varma are good actors, and they didn't disappoint us. Nadia and Murali Sharma are as good as ever. I think I will see it again.

Tv serial is better then this

I can surely say one thing tv serials are much better then this movie so disappointed going to the early shows waking up in morning for Shaurya made me feel so low watching this move I don't know how the producers did this movie really disappointed sir expecting good movies from Shaurya waiting for lakshya hope atleast that movie will be good.

I just want to suggest few good new concept movies like Gzombie, Doctor, Raja Raja chora.

Terrific movie. 1st half- 2nd half both outstanding. Commendable performace by Naga Shourya and Ritu verma. Neat and clean family entertainer. Worth watching with some soulful songs. Go for it !!

Didn't used the comedians properly.

Didn't expect such a bad movie from sitara entertainments I only went to watch movie for them but such a bad movie to slow nothing good just got so bored and left the theatre in second half I should have watched ott releases like family drama, Gzombie & other movies then this movie money got wasted.

We need to encourage lady directors. But was completely disappointed with these new directions Laxmi Sowjanya and Gowri Ronanke. Even you are not watching first one hour you can easily understand this movie. Poor screenplay. Why most of our directors choosing/depending on marriage scenes and home to patch up hero and heroine. Expecting new ideas from new directors. I'm just wondering why producer accepts these poor stories?

Music Director - TikTok

What a low grade background score, the director took it from TikTok. A 5 year old will do a better job for the music. What a disappointment and waste of time. Telugu movie industry is becoming hopeless.

Feel good movie

Ritu Varma and Naga Saurya superb. Feel good music and bgm. Without a single hug between hero and heroine in entire movie now a days is very rare. This movie is the one. Forget about story but clean movie with good some dialogues.

Lovely movie to watch, initially little slow screenplay but later picked up, mainly climax was handled with excellence...

ritu was given more screen space i believe and she has done super job.... and naga shourya was at his best...

infact they both are very very better than star kids and star family troops...

overall a very neat, and no non sense movie....

Predictable but beautiful love story

Simple plot which is predictable for most part, but the lead pair performances and background music makes this a wonderful experience. Perfect family movie to sit together and enjoy!!

Cute and entertaining feel good romantic drama... I liked it very much even though it is in predictable presentation... The love track was perfect till climax and it is overdosed with too many songs.... The songs placement is so bad and its so frequent in the second half... The ego and love angle is handled very well... perfect movie for the weekend to watch with family...

A beautiful movie

Watched a beautiful movie after a long time.

A simple love story executed so well on screen. Both the leads, Naga Shourya and Ritu Varma looked natural, their chemistry, their expressions were so on point. The story and was straightforward and screenplay was executed without any extra embellishments.

The cast was simply excellent and the music was very soothing. Three songs were exceptionally beautiful.

Bhoomi is such a layered character who looks like an egotistical and bossy woman on surface but displays surprising depth right beneath the layer. Akash is a character that walked straight out of girl's dream, sorted, suave and respectful, someone who doesn't believe in playing the hero. Bhoomi's mother is the typical mother who tries everything to get her married. But Bhoomi's father simply takes the cake for the best characterisation as a Dad who is proud of his daughter and doesn't let the society standards dictate their life. Little twists and turns with some well-timed comedy, made this movie a happy weekend watch.

Wonderful visual treat, a very sensible movie with a decent story and excellent screenplay. A movie can be watched with all the family, a rare occurrence these days

One of the best visual treats in recent years. A simple story of unexpressed/ uncommunicated love between the lead pair, how time and maturity brought them together, was nicely presented by the director and cinematographer with the help of Ritu Varma and Naga Sourya (lead pair).

Ritu as a female lead was excellent in portraying the soul of heroine role, who is full of self respect, confidence but yet vulnerable, in a sweet way. Her facial expressions were amazing and her smile is a killer. After a long time, we have a heroine that can act with face, reminding old Savitri movies. She is upping the game with each movie over the past few years and this movie keeps her at the pinnacle. She needs to work a little on her dialogue delivery and Telugu.

Naga Sourya as a male lead is equally good. He certainly elevated the role of heroine with his expressions. His dialogue delivery for most part is very polished, as required by the role. The chemistry between the lead pair is wonderful and Cinematography has taken that to next level.

Nadia and Murali Sharma, as heroine's parents gave superlative performances. Nadia, a concerned mother was so convincing, with good comedic timing where ever possible. Murali Sharma, as supporting father is equally good. His dialogue about treating boys and girls the same, is soul touching.

Kudos to the director Lakshmi Soujanya, for treating this subject in sensible way, with a tight screen play. Comedy scenes are very organic and everyone excelled with simple dialogues and situational comedy. Absence of Vennela Kishore in final marriage episode is compensated by Sapthagiri, with his typical performance.

Overall this is a feel good entertainer, with exceptional camera work and melodious music. Production values are top rate. This movie would be a romantic cult classic in the long run and would do wonders on VoD (video on demand).
