Garden of Sinners 6: Fairy Tale (Oblivion Recording)
Tweekums28 January 2019
This, the sixth film in the series, introduces us to Mikiya's younger sister Azaka Kokuto. She attends the Reien Academy where she is investigating the suicide of a student and rumours that somebody has been using fairies remove student's memories of the event. As she can't see the fairies Shiki is sent to assist using her 'Mystic Eyes of Death Perception'... Azaka doesn't like Shiki as she works with her brother and Azaki has taboo feelings for him without understanding how they started. As they investigate they inevitably uncover truths and find themselves in danger. It is the school holidays so only a handful of boarding pupils and teachers are around.

As one would expect from this series everything looks fantastic. The backgrounds are stunning and character designs are impressive. The story works well with the near empty school providing a great atmosphere. There is a good sense of mystery about what really happened and just as importantly why things happened. Shiki continues to be a great main character and Azaka is an interesting addition and not just because she is related to Mikiya and has dubious feelings for him. Overall I found this to be an impressive addition to the series.
