Sex Files
Scarecrow-8823 July 2011
Warning: Spoilers
A serial killer is strangling the clients of a therapist, Jill Dunning (Lisa Ann), all seeing her for sex addiction. Right before each victim is strangled, they have passionate sex with Jill's boyfriend, Patrick Moss (Tom Stone)—could he be the one responsible for the murders? Long-time porn actor, Daniel Anderson, is detective Brad Foss, trying to uncover the sex addict strangler, confiding in Jill for intimate details which might lead him to the murderer. The mystery is given up at the very first murder as the killer's shirt unveils immediately who he is, so the thriller element of the plot is useless. But if you want to see Lisa Ann screw both Tom Stone and Daniel Anderson, this is your movie. Lisa Ann has been appearing in hardcore primarily, so this is one of her few softcore outings, a therapist who loves sex as much as those seeking her professional help. She sleeps with Stone a few times, fantasizes about Anderson's cop, eventually winding up in the detective's arms before the film is through. I watched this under the title "Sex Files", and really rewatch it for Stone's early sex scene with Jennifer Dark, a thin beauty with raven-colored hair, who performs well on screen—she has quite a presence. Dark is only in the film for two scenes, having sex with Stone's Patrick Moss at the very beginning, later shown making out with another possible suspect, Sarge Logan, as Jill speaks with Foss about a "dangerous lover" her client couldn't get enough of. Other girls come along to get strangled (after engaging in illicit affairs with Stone who must have a "chick magnet" aura about him, some sort of pheromone that draws girls to him), showing up to get naked before exiting stage left. Lisa Ann's gigantic fake boobs (and lips) aren't really a turn on for me, personally, but she has quite a following so "Sex Files" might be right up her audience's alley. Stone is pretty much stone-faced, even as he bangs chicks left and right, so attaching to any character, during sex or not, doesn't really happen. I guess that isn't the point, but passionless sex scenes, performers going through the motions, aren't exactly that thrilling to me personally. That said, Roxy Devill, one of Foss' many conquests, is quite a looker and Jennifer Dark's oh-so-few scenes in this film help matters somewhat.
