- Someone has mentioned that this is a kids show which is totally wrong. This is an anime adaptation of a shonen manga, meaning it's aimed at young adult males despite its art style. Violence and blood is expected throughout the whole series.
- There's a lot of beheading and limb chopping in this show. Don't let the artstyle fool you this show can get really violent and dark.
- While certainly not for younger children, the violence isn't super intense let alone graphic

- A frozen dead body is ground up in some kind of a giant blender to be made into a potion - which the dead person's young son is supposed to drink.
- A character chops off his own hand after he pushed another character into a pit that leads to the underworld.

- There's a scene of a little girl being tortured by villagers. King boss later massacred everyone including women and children to avenge the little girl
