Warning: Spoilers
The first series of 'Alex Rider' (ironically based on the second book) was a success, toning down some of the 'Spy Kids' elements that perhaps blighted the big screen version of 'Stormbreaker', which to be fair I enjoyed.

The show was gritty, it was more true to life, and I was pleased to see it was back.

This first episode of the second run has lots of the plus points that made the original a hit, but also a few of its failings. It promises big drama that it doesn't always deliver upon, and there's a few too many slow moments.

BUT, it's certainly fun and engaging, which goes a long way with me.

Alex Rider never disappoints! It always pulls me in. It is such an adventure. The actor does such a great job and is quite believable and likeable. I dont know anything about the books but can only imagine what type of adventure they take you on!!

Off To A Great Start

The new season is off to a great start. I have no idea where the story is going since I haven't read the books and I'm purposefully not reading them so I don't spoil the show for myself.

Bring on Season 3
gqbgq4 December 2021
Just to be clear I enjoyed the first season a lot and has an avid fan of the books I was hoping it'd get a second season, season 1 was great but did feel like it was missing something and I feel that that was rectified this time around.

This episode hit every note correctly, the introduction of Sabina the idea that Alex is on his own is carried brilliantly from the books. Whilst the changes in this series make for even more interesting character interactions, particularly between Tom and Alex as well as giving us a better version of Smithers who becomes more of Alex's ally like in the book.

Bring on season 3!!

Waiting for season 3

Ending was epic....loved it. The new season started from where it ends. There will be some answers for the question that were struck us at the season 1 finale. Season 2 will lead you to a different direction. Hang on there till the end and you will get what you were looking for from the finale of season 1 to season 2. Third season will explore more about alex and we will find out who Alex really is. Plzzz came back with season 3. 😍😍😍

Engrossing, fantastic, a must-watch

Warning: Spoilers
Many says that it takes a lot of episodes before it picks up the story, but for me, I was already engrossed in the first episode. I love the fact that they combined some elements in the third book of the series (Skeleton Key) and mashed it up with the fourth book (Eagle Strike) to make a fantastic season and expanded even more the world of Alex Rider.

The characters that were underutilized in the books and rarely appears, was given more screentime in show and they made these characters even more helpful to Alex. The acting really improved and boy, I love that scene where Alex plays Feathered Serpent for real. This season shows how they really put a huge amount of effort and passion on making this even more amazing than season one. I love everything about this season and I can't wait for more Alex Rider espionage adventure. (They already hinted that the third season will be SCORPIA and it's one of my favorite book in the series. Can't wait!)
