Being a lifeguard, that is, responsible for the lives of others, is not a game, and many tourists, especially in our country, ignore the advice of lifeguards and thus endanger their own lives, but also that of their rescuers. The law regulating the lifeguard service - Decision no. 1136/2007 - is extremely permissive, almost non-existent on a practical level, in the context in which the number of deaths as a result of ignoring lifeguard warnings is increasing, and the persons concerned cannot be sanctioned in any way. It's been about 20 years since a fine was given to tourists who come to the seaside and definitely want to bathe in the sea, whether or not there are conditions, without taking into account the warnings given by lifeguards, in case of rough seas .
