The first twenty-three episodes were 10/10: suspenseful, understated, emotionally powerful, nuanced characters and realistic dialogue. I won&#39;t give away any plot points but after Episode 25 all the delicate emotional complexity vanishes, replaced by predictable, recycled action tropes. It&#39;s as if they tacked two different mosalsals together and hoped nobody would notice. Maybe they did, considering it must have been filmed during the height of the pandemic.<br/><br/>It&#39;s still worth watching for the great acting by the whole cast, particularly Carmen Lebbos, Nadine Njeim (who gives the best performance I&#39;ve seen from her) and Qosay Khaulli, who deserves an Oscar.

It&#39;s a Lebanese Syrian show. The lead actors are really good, especially Kosai and Nadine. The first 22-24 episodes were great, very interesting to watch. It displays ethical situations and serious global issues as well as humor especially by Kosai who can say this line in 100 different way &quot;ya afo allah&quot;. But after that it starts to get predictable, pulling, and the gaps in the plot were unrealistic to the audience intelligence. For some reason the writer/director decides that the leading actress who is supposed to be the hero of the show &amp; brings justice to keep failing her attempts in running away &amp; helping the cops find her location/s..All for obvious mistakes a trained officer wouldn&#39;t do. The ending is so sad and heart wrenching. They leave it open for the watcher to decide whether Kosai/Safi kills himself or his lover kills him which I don&#39;t find it necessary. Open-ended finish is appreciated when there&#39;s an open question or no right/wrong answer. In this situation it wasn&#39;t anything like that.

The script it&#39;s very engaging and it&#39;s very good acción series that narrated a very good story
But my issue with this show it&#39;s that there is no charisma or attraction between the two main characters
Nadine looks so beautiful,distinguished and you as an audience don&#39;t wants this gorgeous woman to get romantically involved with this disgusting guy
Of course that&#39;s his role but they should it Choose a different actor.
