- During a dream sequence, a girl's stomach is sliced open and begins spurting blood. Her parents begin to drink the blood as it gushed out.
- A young boy dies of a snake bite wound. His arm is infected and is unsettling to look at.
- In one dreamlike sequence, an apparition's cutting wounds begin to bleed spontaneously and then sprout tendon-like tentacles that shoot out and grab hold of a young woman.
- A man is bitten by a snake on the cheek. He then bites the snake's head off, with blood gushing out and down his mouth. While he whips his wife with the headless snake, the daughter proceeds to stab him to death.
