Just ignore every review submitted on the 7th of July!

It's painfully obvious that the director's mum has submitted all these dreadful reviews!

This is just awful filmmaking. If someone offers you tickets for this or the option of having your eyes sandblasted from your head, take the latter.

As someone else said ignore reviews written on the 7th july its terrible turned it off after 5 mins its like something written by a 10 year old in the 60s.

Pretentious nonsense

This was the most painful 75 minutes I have ever sat through. The music was annoying, the acting non existent and the dialogue was just pretentious and awful. Watching this was the equivalent of taking a cheese grater to my eyes.

The absolute worst movie i've ever seen. Nearly turned it off seven different times. The characters are poorly written, the plot is nonexistent, and the dialogue is horrible. It's openly misogynistic and doesn't seem to care or notice that it is. Half the time I couldn't even tell what genre it was pretending to occupy, but it certainly was not a thriller in any sense of the word. It's a pretentious waste of time. And don't get me started on that overdeveloped garbage piano soundtrack.

It should be illegal to falsely rate a movie. the rating is a scam

All those rating 10 are probably friends and family. Its a scam.

The movie is about some people claiming to be artists. Meeting in a location where they claim to talk about their art. They talk around in circles. Then they start being erratic for no reason.

Then there is one guy in a mask that does absolutely nothing.

Then there are clips of videos or artwork that show up at random that has nothing to do with the plot.

Then it ends with one guy pretending to have master minded a plan involving art. Pleaseeee!!!!

This movie was meaningless, the plot was aimless. They tried to make it mysterious but what is mystery without any understanding. You can not tell what was to be achieved.

Advice. Find something interesting to do while you watch this movie.

Finally some original content out of Hollywood

With another summer of sequels and prequels, it is refreshing to see someone coming up with original content which requires thought and not just staring at the screen and drooling into your popcorn.

The film, actually a dark commentary about the Academy of Motion Pictures, takes the viewer on a journey filled with mystery and intrigue. Marks compels the viewer to look beyond what is on the screen for a deeper more meaningful message about pop culture.

This film, cerebral on multiple levels, may go over the heads of younger, less experienced fans of physiological thriller genre. For the film connoisseur, this is a brilliant and engaging piece of content.

If you are ready to jump into a suspenseful story, you can't go wrong with "HEIR"

Makings of something special

It's easy these days to be consumed by pop culture and specifically, what social media tells you you should and shouldn't like or care about. Not only does this film go against the grain of what every recently released movie has been doing, but it has a clever way of relaying that message to the audience. "The world has been hypnotized" gave me chills when I realized that was the overall theme of the film. I couldn't agree more and it's refreshing to watch something that sheds light on this issue. Could the film use some work? Yes, it can. But viewers with a hankering for deeper meaning and something raw for a change will find this piece special.

Grab a snack and get comfortable...you're not gonna want to leave your couch for this movie. I loved everything about this film: the story, the acting, the dialogue, the music. But what stands out the most from Heir is the intricate storytelling from Noah Marks. Marks's ability to write intense, sophisticated stories and bring them to life is truly amazing...big things coming for this young director, producer, actor, and music artist. From the first scene to the last, I was hooked. I'll be watching this film again once I give myself time to wrap my head around that twist ending!
