THE TREK thetrekmovie.thedrafters.com A film by Lola Wallace & Tom Devlin Starring John Karyus "Kind of BIGFOOT meets CLAN OF THE CAVE BEAR ?" This movie seems to be a train wreck, That you have to watch…Two couples who are TOTALLY different, But similar.

The couple just going into woods to explore and the cannibals who have been 'in the woods',Too long.

Began to see the humanity in primitives and the degeneration of "Civilized" Man & Woman.

The makeup effects are great and story is logical, You feel for these couples who fate has thrown in a blender together and Who will survive ? There is some physical 'tit for tat' with dismemberment, That will have you looking away from screen.

Ok. First I'll say I like premise. Happy couple meets psychos in a fight for their lives. I also like movies set in the woods, always adds a unknown quality but this was just to ridiculous for words. First the husband had the balls to beat up an old lady but not the mountain man? Secondly, how did the wife get that far away from her husband that quick? Then she finds she able is able to break the bonds AFTER her husband is dead?? She sits there crying while he is being tortured but decides to escape after he is dead. And the most preposterous part is she becomes a...what? Cannibal? Zombie? Who knows?

Sadly this was a silly, the worst acting film. Nothing scary or suspenseful at all. Only 4 characters and you felt nothing at all for them. As for a plot, nope didn't really have one. The "gruesome" ending was laughable. Wow, seriously I don't have the words to explain to you why this movie was so so so bad. Luckily it's only about a hour long so if you do watch it, you've only wasted 1 hour of your life that you can never get back. But, nope don't watch it. Instead go watch your hair grow cause it'd be more exciting than this.

Worst honeymoon ever

THE TREK is another indie horror flick with a found footage feel. There are the usual boring interviews to get out of the way first, then a trek into the wilderness with a young honeymooning couple making possibly the worst decision of their lives. In the second half things get more interesting - and visceral - with the introduction of a pair of malignant troglodyte cave dwellers. There's some interesting parallel comparison between the two couples, but too much time is wasted on boring titillation and the occasional bit of silly direction (the ridiculous scene where the girl goes primal, for instance).
