Nothing wrong with peace & love, but this movie was really laughable.
rootzij3 March 2017
I didn't know I could love a movie and hate a movie at the same time, so I gave it a 5 rating. WOW! It was campy, cheesy, and a hilariously funny "new agey type movie." Yet, this movie cannot be taken seriously. I laughed through the whole movie. Yeap, it was pretty BAD, but it made a good B-Rated movie for a Friday Night. Want to waste your' time watching a movie....this is it. This movie included "being One with the Universe," Saving a plant in the desert while slugging the guy who mistreated it, slugging your' friend over the dumbest argument, combating evil acting aliens who mistreated them because mankind mistreats each other so WHY NOT join in on the FUN, and last but not least, giving a crystal necklace to the "grey type" aliens as a "Universal LOVE Pact by over powering these "grey" aliens through the "Love Energy" the human leader possessed. WOW, what a message that was preached, SERIOUSLY Laughable....puggypatty

Very Confusing Movie
clopezjr9 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this movie to the end and I was baffled. It started off fine then as it progress it got more and more confusing. It didn't seem to have a plot line or even some kind of focal point times, and didn't seem to make any sense. It just seem to stick one Sci-Fi cliche after another. And the ending just wanted me to say, huh?

There are fun moments, but my eyes still hurt though
pfilbeck25 December 2015
I like Trashmovies, so i searched for new stuff in 2015 and found the trailer to this flick. I don't want to spoiler you, but I can say: People this movie has everything in it what scifi-fantasy-alien-action-trash-fans would love to see all in once; but the again: No! My Eyes hurt, i feel with the actors, and i'm starting to hate those special effect people; but then again...

Look: Watch this, hate it, but you can't say it wasn't worth the time. Not logical? A bit crazy? - No, just dialectical. To say it in a philosophical way.

Yep, the Movie. It's a weird one. Don't get lost in it. HaHa.

Lousy indie sci fi
Leofwine_draca19 April 2018
Warning: Spoilers
ALIENS: ZONE-X is another lousy indie science fiction movie shot out in the desert somewhere with a small cast of characters. Apparently they're stranded in a military test zone which means we get talking and emoting for around an hour, in which time any right-minded viewer will have long since nodded off. After lots of waiting and lots of hanging around, the last 20 minutes features some terrible CGI aliens which show up to harass our characters. It's laughably bad.

Take me. Leave them alone!
nogodnomasters3 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Aliens cause a group of people to get stranded in the desert. Miles from water they travel into Zone-X where they encounter various kinds of unfriendly aliens. The ranger has some meridian power and there is a bad guy after them who has mojo, neither of which I understood, but no one asked questions when it was used. The acting was super bad. Richard (Travon L. Collins) talks about the aliens and guesses as to what is happening. He was perhaps the worst choice to do that.

The alien special effects was good, but why bother if the script and actors are extremely sub-par. They could have eliminated the plane crew and about 30 minutes. Way too boring and too long.

Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.

Cool movie if you like aliens
potatohahayes31 December 2020
These guys in the desert get attacked by different types of aliens it was pretty neat. It had good effects considering the low budget; a fun fantasy movie to watch. The giant spider scene was the best

Low Budget Sci-Fi at its Best
ajaxfilms13 January 2021
I really enjoyed it! It has a lot of the classic Sci-Fi themes. This is not a Hollywood movie, and I am glad. It has an artistic touch to the special effects. The locations are really spectacular. I recommend watching it if you want to see a fun, low budget, entertaining movie, with great monsters, creatures and aliens.

Please see this movie!!! Excellent! "Real" Science Fiction
tdickens17 January 2016
This movie has everything! Drama, story, character development, motivation, great acting (Best of Award for David Burke at New York International Independent Film and Video Festival), as well as (Best Picture - Sci Fi), and Best Special Visual Effects (New York and Los Angeles).

It is a modern day "Cult Classic" like "It came from Outer Space" or "The Day the Earth Stood Still", or even the original "Outer Limits" or "Star Trek" series. Also a "survival film" as the cast must endure the real life harsh desert environment, while plagued with an alien attack.

It starts off with a certain energy as the story is set up, and grows to a fever pitch towards the end, with continuous surprises, and thrills. There is some campy comedy, and some real scares, as well as fantastic scenes.

It is also very thoughtful. This is not a "leave your brain at the door" bubblegum entertainment film. Yet it does also have plenty of action and fun. Afterwords, each episodic scene will spawn many discussions by the viewers.

There is so much to see, cram packed into this film, it will require several viewings.

Not since a Ray Harryhausen film has one person done so much work. This film is a perfect example of "the American Dream" as a very small crew did amazing amounts of work, and varied talents.

There are more CGI creature effects in this film than any Indie Film ever made, and there are nail biting suspense and action scenes.

It was shown in theaters in New York City, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Austin, Las Vegas to sold out shows.

Interviews were done on the Kevin Smith show, various radio shows, UFO Digest, and KCOR Restricted International Radio! Sure, it was done for a low budget, and can not and should not be compared with multi-million dollar films (with crews of thousands and the best of everything), as this is an indie film. But that is a huge part of it's appeal. It's "real". Not a Hollywood put on "business numbers" film. It is a story with passion, from the heart.

Many of the viewers of the film have said that the effects feel much more real and solid than at times even blockbuster films, and that the story and character development was also reminiscent of European films, so the film is far from shallow. They have become fans.

You will not be able to forget Aliens: Zone-X, and will be talking about it for a long time after viewing!
