Winter Is Coming

AEW Dynamite's Winter Is Coming show took place at Dally's Place in Jacksonville' Florida, and is a memorable event, despite being set in a limited crowd. The show begins with a Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale, where the last two wrestlers in the ring will compete for the Dynamite Diamond Ring in the next Dynamite, the matches are awesome, but what cements this episode as one of the best is the tag team match where Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin face off against Team Taz, which consists of Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks, where after losing, Team Taz goes on the attack, only to be chased out by Sting, who makes his AEW debut here, and marking his return on the TNT network since he defeated Ric Flair in the final episode of WCW Monday Nitro. This part shocked me as I remembered Sting retired from WWE due to almost suffering a neck injury, but he returns to the cheers of what crowd was allowed, and he made a powerful impact.
