A movie that is way ahead of its time

Drama about an extended family and the emotions of aged parents losing connect and affection of their children, & taking the decision of embracing euthanasia. A relatively untouched subject in Indian cinema, the idea of euthanasia has been beautifully explored in this movie.

It has become one of my favorite movies.

The story really touched my heart. It made me reflect on my own future in old age, a time that can be challenging. As the years pass, one may gradually lose their physical vitality, the companionship of loved ones, and, at times, even test the patience of those around them.

Throughout this journey, many of our dear friends and family members may depart from this world before us, leaving us with a heavy heart and a lingering anticipation of our own final moments. During this time, we become increasingly reliant on our life partner, the one who has walked by our side for a lifetime. The bond between us grows stronger, as we don't wish to leave them to face the difficulties of old age alone. Our desire to live is fueled by the love and companionship we share, and they feel the same way.

It's a reminder that, just as our parents cared for us in our childhood, we should reciprocate by providing love and support to our aging parents. They should never feel neglected or overlooked, for their wisdom and experience deserve our attention and care.
