- Lots of blood and some gore, but not very graphic. The only graphic scenes are Martin's leg cut open and a zebra seen opened up.
- The movie shows the corpses of people from a village who were all killed. Very graphic and disturbing.
- The main character gets attacked by a lion and nearly dies at the end of the movie.
- The evil lion gets viciously slaughtered by a group of domesticated lions, who save the main character at the last minute.
