  • A woman slaps her teenage daughter after she makes a remark about her father's sex life.
  • Some dialogue about people dying and the occasional violent threat.

Profanity

  • It is rare that a scene goes by without someone swearing. At times characters are in a rage, on drugs, and/or seek to be shocking in their language. General verbal/mental abuse and family dysfunction.
  • 27 uses of "fuck" and "shit" and one use of "cunt." Other mild profanities are used throughout as well. Including religious profanities and exclamations.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A teenager smokes cigarettes in one scene. It is said that she smokes weed, and a man imitates the actions. He then proceeds to state he has real, strong weed. In a later scene, we see the two smoking it and breathing into each others' mouths then trying to hold it in.
  • Alcohol is present in a lot of the dinner scenes as well numerous other scenes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some scenes may be intense, especially the scenes involving themes about incest, death, and drug addictions. Nearly all scenes have a comedic tone to them.
