- In the 'AWE' DLC, Alan Wake states the following through a hotline: "The man, naked, crawls to the shore. Like a birth? To say that would be a lie. Nothing like a birth, the opposite." This was soon confirmed to be a hint at the then upcoming 'Alan Wake II', a game connected to Control and a sequel to the 2010 cult classic 'Alan Wake'.
