Love!

I honestly love this show. I always love to see them act together in everything they do. But the show as a whole is well thought out and just different than the normal Mystery show. Can't wait to see more!

Think what you want

I enjoyed this series. The actors and their characters are likable, the plots excellent. I especially liked the background music. It never smothered the dialog, it was always warm and so pleasant to the ears. A cross between George Benson and a 1950s very light jazz club.

Not too great a story
MdeSah13 October 2020
Sunita Prasad speaks much too fast, does not pronounce her consonents and is difficult to understand. Greer Garson, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford have nothing to worry about.

I loved the series
Lily-324 July 2022
Was it perfect? No but I gave it a ten to partially offset the unnecessarily low ratings of other reviewers. I'm so bummed Hallmark dropped this like they did so many others. I love seeing those two together.

I thought they had great chemistry (I mean a real life happy couple shows through). I loved Carlos as the detective. Alexa is a joy.

Personally, I think Hallmark is the real problem. They're spreading themselves thin with three channels they can't even properly fill. Get back to quality stories all in one place. Variety on one channel of the various genres is okay. I mean they crossover anyway.

Alexa and Carlos are great and I hope we get to see more of them in the future.

Perfect match = Hallmark + The PenaVega's
shellyg96017 September 2022
I have found that I absolutely love the collaborations where Alexa and her husband Carlos work together.

They are spectacular together on screen they have amazing chemistry and they make the films so enjoyable to watch.

They are each individually extremely talented and gifted actors.

Picture perfect mysteries was fun, wholesome, and wonderful to watch.

Great plot, great play out, great cast, superb music choices. I felt the writing and directing was on point.

I found no flaws in this gem of a film.

It made me laugh, kept me wondering, and hoping for more!

I will absolutely watch anything that has Alexa and Carlos starring together.

They are a truly terrific team on the screen and compliment every work of art they make together.

I love the Hallmark Mystery series and I hope Hallmark will collaborate for many more films and many more years with Alexa and Carlos PenaVega.

Lead actor is wrong.
teebear81730 January 2021
I get it that both the male and female leads are married in real life. Nonetheless, he is wrong for the lead detective. He commands no respect onscreen, he doesnt intimidate suspects. He is 5' 6. Shorter than most men in the world. He is a pipsqueak ....I ,am tired of the redundant sexual glances these 2 have. She breaks all the laws. Breaking and entering, violating taped off crime scenes, hacking computers, removing or disturbing evidence, questioning witnesses before police do, disobeying police commands, etc. Anyone would ve in jail for this. I've veen around zero murdered people in my lifetime. This photographer is around non stop murder victims every episide. This series is ABSURD!! Also aggrivates me that ALL Hallmark movies are filmed in Canada with mostly Canadian actors, but pretend it takes place in America. If you film in Canada with Canadian actors, and Canada gets all the production money, and acting jobs...why not admit its Canada cities instead if America? You pay them taxes and salaries, yet pretend the movies are set in America. Phonies!!!

A disappointing effort in this series
jlbsword17 January 2021
I liked the first movie in this series. I was hopeful that this one would be as good. But it just wasn't. There were far too many characters. In a mystery part of the fun is try try and guess the culprit. Also, does Hallmark have to use the same secondary actors in every movie! I have seen every one of these folks in all of the Christmas and Winter movies in the past few weeks. And the main actors, despite being married in real life do not seem to translate their connection to the screen and show little attraction to each other. I did not make it through the entire movie and did not really care that I never did find out the murderer. This series needs major improvement if there are to be more produced.

Poor
d-robold21 October 2020
Poor acting, script, chemistry. You name it, it was poor. Glad I had it on the dvr and didn't waste my time watching it in real time. Put me to sleep 4 times. My husband watched the second installment with me. It's also a two star. Blah

Actors are too much concentrated on the cameras instead of their acting
harten-928377 April 2022
It is very annoying to see actors only concentrate on the cameras instead of their quality of acting. It gave me the impression that only their looks are important. It could not fascinate me at all.

I liked her
LtlHippo22 March 2022
Enjoyed watching her but not her hubby. He's the one who dragged down this show. When I've seen her in other movies, she's great. As soon as he shows up it just goes downhill. I can see why this was cancelled so soon.
