Great action, great revenge, triumphing love!
MuviFan7310 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Story: The story starts from where first part ends. The couple adopts a girl to redeem their lives. Unfortunately she is kidnapped, raped and killed. The women pushes away her husband for she wants revenge. The hero exactly does that and redeems love again in their lives.

Cinematography: Terrific scenes including educational institute, roads on CCTV, mutton shop, prison (scened action while raining), Egypt, etc are all eye pleasing.

Direction/music: Awesome direction again from director. To add further above average music.

Final Verdict: It is shown how the wife is broken. She charges her one and only apprentice. The husband tries and wins only to lose it again. Then comes my second most favorite part - Action filled revenge. Further comes my most favorite part - His wife accepting him for he has taken revenge the way she wanted.

Movie based on High Emotions
skmenon19939 July 2022
Khuda Haafiz : Chapter 2 : Agni Pariksha...

Starring Vidyut Jammwal in lead role...Also starring Shivaleeka Oberoi as the lead actress...

A year back when its 1st part of the movie released on an OTT platform postive reception was received and so when the director cum writer Faruk Kabir announced its second part expectations was in high as one reason was the impact of delivery that the first part gave & also Vidyut Jammwal performance....

Talking about the plot of this movie...

The movie begins with showcasing the trauma of the lady who underwent extreme adverse atrocities over abroad and how she is trying to cope up herself and how Sameer played by Vidyut Jammwal supports her...

This resembles me about the Drishyam 2 where the daughter passes through the trauma of the incident happened....

Back to Khuda Hafiz, then one fine day a little girl enters into their life and there happens a change which slowly accelerates their joyous moment which also in turn strengths the bond between the couple which was lost somewhere...

But again history repeats & now Sameer comes into the ground to fight for their justice...

Now talking about the story and screenplay...

Story is again a repeatitive of women atrocities and when the law doesn't takes up the stand, a parallel law will set up the people who needs justice...So story wise no innovativeness...

Screenplay is highly based on emotion. Being a Vidyut Jammwal movie, actions can be expected & movie delivers the action but not a commercial way of execution...Its a blend of Vidyut Jammwal signature action plus the character natural action which can be conceived to the audience...

As its highly based on emotion, it cannot be said in a commercial film making and so many times a second thought it was good to watch it over an OTT platform as when required it could be paused.

Faruk Kabir portrays the customary grey topic of woman atrocities in his own style....

Shivaleeka Oberoi performance was quite good but her screen presence is restricted as here a question might rise

1) When an attrocity happens against a women why always men are crucified ?? Do she also have the responsibility to fight??

Overall a movie based on emotion which could be watched over a big screen to feel the experience knowing that it couldn't be paused when experiencing a lagness...

Great movie.

The background music, location, and primary concept were all excellent. The camera work and various points of view, which the filmmaker masterfully used, kept us intrigued throughout the whole film. Please have a look.

Nice

The movie doesn't include any pointless scenes or dramatization. A more credible action thriller with a strong performance from the whole cast. The movie doesn't include any strange or out-of-place scenes. The movie keeps moving forward in every way.

Watch it for Action Sequences..
shaikhirshad-412238 July 2022
Khuda Hafiz Chapter 1 was a good start by the director because the acting that has performed by all the actors in the movie was brilliant. Same thing goes to Chapter 2. Storyline similar basic plot and nothing new to add-up but the acting performances was quite good in this movie. Movie length could be shortened as 1st half was way too slow but movie picks up the pace on the 2nd half with the best action sequences. Vidyut Jammwal again no doubt best performance but rest of the cast looks average because director hasn't add anything new to it's storyline. Action sequence are well choreographed and its good to see on the screen. Whereas climax is just average. All n all watch it for action & acting if you like the 1st part then you'll definitely enjoy this atleast one time....

Great continuity
OnlyKSJ18 May 2023
*) K Reviews *) ( ( This is very rare to make a sensible part 2 of a sensitive issue. And man do i feel sorry for Sameer throughout the first and even more in the second. While Sameer was killing those rapist, i was cheering at the screen "kill those ______" and this is the very harsh reality, due to which I really don't want to be in India. Damn at the end they have given official data of India that every 15 min a girl raped in India, this means that by the time i have finished writing this review, a girl is being raped somewhere in India. That just sick mentality to the utmost level of Rotten society. Movie did a great job and the lady in the negative has done a great job. Although in the movie there's a scene where she leaves the house by saying that we can't remain the same and whatever, but why saying to Sameer, he has saved you in the first part by going against the world for you and you just left. That's completely crazy. Great acting Jamwal.

Very good movie
Don't anticipate a love tale since that is not what this is. Vidyut Jammwal plays a more understated role than usual in this somber, realistic, and emotionally compelling action thriller without losing any of the action we've come to expect from him. The second chapter of Khuda Haafiz is a lot of fun.

Emotional + top notch action entertainment
faizkhan6589 July 2022
Yesterday watched this beautiful film. First half is full of emotion and second half is full of action with a reason. It's well written and directed film. The whole crew did his best job. Music and it's timing is cherry on the cake. Vidyut proved in this film he can do emotional characters as well as he does action. Pure entertainer with social isuue. It's gives you vibe of taken and John wick's films. Overall it's a must watch film. Sheeba chadha , dibyendu bhattacharya , nandni, khalu, kidnapper young boy, danish hussain, rajesh tailang, shivalika oberoi, ashwat bhatt all did justice to their characters.

Revenge Drama
IPyaarCinema24 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The second part shows some scenes from chapter 1 and continues from where the first part ended. To understand the second chapter, there is a short requirement to watch or know the story of the first part. The first half of Khuda Haafiz 2 is all about Shivaleeka over Vidyut. From cute to daring, she nails every emotion with finesse. Vidyut is not hidden but Shivaleeka shines in the first half, while he steals the show in the second half of the movie.that is really uncomfortable to watch. Dibyendu Bhattacharya's entry as Asif completely defines what his role is going to offer ahead. The actor kills it with his looks itself. And what a performance by Sheeba Chadha, she looked the perfect vemp.

The second half is studded with visuals where Vidyut is seen decimating anything and everything that crosses his path. He plunges knives and sprays bullets to annihilate every man opposing him, but keeps most of his battles fought with his bare hands to amplify the drama. Sameer is silent, brooding, largely undemonstrative man who is drawn into situations he would have avoided if he could. But when he is at it, his methods are brutal and swift.

Vidyut Jammwal is one of a handful of Bollywood actors who genuinely fit the description of an action hero. He has the physique and the screen presence to convince the audience that he possesses the strength and endurance to pull off hand-to-hand combat without sustaining too many permanent scratches.

Not a mindless action thriller
ragingbull_20054 September 2022
I was anticipating mindless action and plenty of blood and gore. And it serves this in copious amount. However, the first punch is thrown past the hour mark. And the reason for it is the story's arc.

I was pleasantly surprised by the effort that seems to have gone into building up the characters. It seemed too saccharine at times. But also felt sincere, as if the audience intelligence was not being taken for granted.

The dark turn that it takes is gut wrenching and will literally leave you baying for blood to be spilled.

It held my attention for close to 105 minutes of its 140 minute runtime. It is shot in the nether regions of UP and the scenery enhances the anticipation of the crime and the characters involved in it.

It was when the action moved away from the desi shores that it slipped into realm of unreality.

Vidyut Jamwal has deliberately tried to underplay his action hero antecedents and he succeeds for the most part. However, by the end, he becomes this killing machine and it becomes almost impossible to believe his character arc.

It is an old fashioned masala film where the ingredients are mixed almost appropriately. Some editing in the first and last 30 minutes would have ensured an even crisper revenge thriller.

Surprisingly profound!
SoumikBanerjee19963 September 2022
Khuda Haafiz 1 was more of a search & rescue saga, which accentuates Vidyut's action and exotic locations with little to no preference for the storyline; whereas, the sequel, Khuda Haafiz 2, inclined more toward a deeper, substantial revenge narrative that tends to speak of a sensitive societal topic.

Albeit, the hardcore fans of Vidyut, who only like to see him doing his action may find the first half to be on the slower side but for the others, for the casual viewers, the slow and steady buildup of the first two acts will come off as rather necessary, given how the whole series of events shape up shortly thereafter.

Now, as far as the second half is concerned, I feel, there is something for everybody down there. Plentiful Action, some powerful drama, and most notably, a neatly formulated plot that has seemingly paid its due dividends in the concluding moments. Even though the finale did seem a bit far-fetched, a bit cliché in a sense; however, one thing is for certain; Revenge hasn't been sweeter before!

Expected a little bit more from it!
hasanxenith11 August 2022
When I first noticed about this Chapter 2 of Khuda haafiz, I was like "OMG" , now this is becoming like Taken series! But it was more like John wick Indian version. Hehe . Anyway , the motivation for Samir and his actions were totally realistic in his first chapter of film series but second part was like suddenly by magically he become a John wick from a common man! Those brutal fight scenes were really awesome for an indian movie just like it's first chapter.

I expected a little bit thriller type suspense from it. But sadly this film didn't focused on that part but as a simple action film , it fulfilled it's purpose.

Khuda haafiz chapter 2:agni pariksha
puranjanbasak9 July 2022
Khuda haafiz chapter 2:agni pariksha is an action drama romance film directed by faruk kabir.

The performances are stellar. Vidyut jamwal has most probably given his best performance here. His eyes, his expressions, his dialogue delivery, everything is on point. Shivaleeka oberoi is an upcoming star. I have not seen eyes more expressive than her in recent times, at least of a leading lady. And also she deserves to be the national crush of india. She portrays a traumatic character with grace and ease. Wheover cast sheeba chadda as the antagonist deserves a payraise. She is a wonderful performer, here given the space she gives her absolute best. She is menacing and cold to the extent we think. Dibyendu bhattacharjee and the other supporting cast do their job perfectly. Special mention to bodhisattva, the teenage rapist and the little lady, nandini. Both of them are so good.

One of its striking qualities is its cinematography. You see the use of colour palette in the dark, gloomy sequences. It looks so lifeless and dull. You see the long shot action sequences inside the narrow lanes and that brilliant jail sequence. Also that top view shot inside the bathroom setpiece. Its brilliant to say the least. Now i come to the action choreography. Its absolute peach. You dont need fancy locations and excessive slow mos to make an action setpiece look engaging. You just need a capable performer like vidyut and a capable action choreographer also like vidyut. They do not shy away from showing violence. There are bloody sequences which are gruesome and brutal. The hand to hand combat scenes are beautiful to witness.

Dialogues too are a strong point. The japanese philosophy of broken things and its inception is very well done. In one scene, thakur ji says 'un do ladkiyo ko nipta do, mane alag alag karke phek do' , it was brilliant. Its good. Writing is actually very good. The trauma and the scenes with the shrink are very mature and realistic. The adoption part of nandini seems very well written. Only one sequence where a character identifies a ble car from a monochromatic CCTV is somewhat illogical. The writing of first half esoecially is brilliant. The drama is built well in the screenplay. In the second half though, it goes a bit wayward.

Another striking quality is its music. What a special music album. And not only the music but also its use in the film. The song in that dargah scene just took me back to kun faya kun. Maybe it is inspired somewhat. Also the song in that narrow lane action sequence generates a beuatiful adrenaline mixture.

The vfx in the egypt sequence is a bit jarring to the eye but it is not a major fault.

This movie has its heart in its right place. A beautiful sequel, i would say better than the first part. This is a must watch. I rate it 8.75 out of 10.

1st Half is Great, 2nd has no Story or Inspiration. SHOCKING from Vidyut for showing Hindu Goddess Maa Durga Devotee as Female Abuser and Killer
sagarpandya776213 September 2022
Positives: 1. Emotional, Heart Touching 1st Half.

2. Vidyut Jamwal's Acting

Negatives: 1. In the start they established Female Villain as Devotee of Maa Kali who is responsible for Girls killing and Female Sex Abuser. I was literally shocked to watch this as I never expected this from Vidyut and so I gave it a try otherwise I do not try such Propogandist's movies. Vidyut is also added in this Gang now.

2. 2nd half has no story or screenplay. Even action scene is added as a part of song which spoiled whole action sequence.

3. Most Action sequences are not constant and showed as cuts.

4. Jail Action Sequence is copied from Raid 2 movie with minor changes.

5. Vidyut changes his gesture from being Hindu to being Muslim (In 1st half he does Namaste and then at last he gives Salaam) which was forcefully added and had 0% requirement. Here they tried to show that I have moved towards Justice (You will know what I mean once you watch movie)

Brutal action movie.
Fella_shibby19 October 2022
I enjoyed this movie n loved the action sequences.

This one will remind viewers of The Raid 2 (the prison rain fight scene).

Along with Iko Uwais, Vidyut Jamwal deserves a place in the Expendables series.

This one once again has the nasty gory teeth scene like it's predecessor which makes the scene from American History X looks like kindergarten.

While not as fast as the predecessor n not as suspenseful as the predecessor, this one has gory action sequences which is definitely not for the squeamish.

Finally we have a genuine action star unlike the fake n pathetic Akshay n Tiger Shroff.

Hope to see Vidyut in some big budget movie.

If only the main culprit was of a match....I would have given 10 stars
Biswas_8 July 2022
Khuda Hafiz 2 begins exactly from where Chapter 1 left. Our lead actress Shivalika is still recovering from the horrors of Chapter 1 when they get to adopt a kid which brings in happiness in their life but soon, a horrific tragedy strikes yet again that forces Vidyut to go on a man hunt for the culprits.......yet again.

The story is pretty decent. It is to the point and never deviates here and there with any kind of subplots which is why it keeps you hooked till the end. While Chapter 1 was a rescue mission, Chapter 2 is a revenge story and the impact is present because the film takes a good 35 mins to establish the relationship between the leads and the girl child which is why when the kidnapping and the later events happen, you feel the urge to see Vidyut take revenge. Job well done here.

While Sheeba Chadda and Dibyendu are side villians and they have done a fabulous job , the biggest issue is that the main culprit of all the ho-hum is a school kid! I felt it initially not a problem but the climax was where it was a big let down because we see a small sequence in Egypt where Vidyut and the school kid are fighting! I mean what is this? The two are of no match so where will the fireworks come from. The main culprit had to be someone of Vidyut 's level , not some school kid lol lmao. This is why I felt the final moments of the climax disappointing.

Also the Egypt sequence is very short all the main entertainment takes place in Lucknow.

Action sequence are very well choreographed. Raw and sometimes really gory (not to the extent that faint hearted ones will have an issue though). Songs, all genuinely sound good and go well with the film. Rubaru has to be my favourite.

This film establishes Vidyut as a proper actor and not just a simple action hero. Shivalika has limited scope this time but she is good. I have already talked about Sheeba and Dibyendu.

Overall, a must watch film. Please watch it in theatres . This film deserves your support. You gave lots of love to Chapter 1 now Chapter 2 needs your love too otherwise do not complain that Bollywood gives chance to nepotism when you can't support actors like Vidyut and all.

Was the sequel necessary?
gangeshgnair21 September 2022
I really liked the first movie. I would say it's definitely a decent action thriller. What I expect from the second part is something extra, or taking the story to next level, but khuda haffiz 1 gives us a satisfying and happy ending, leaving not much possibility for a sequel

I really loved the way they addressed the trauma the wife character was going through and how the family deals with it. The action sequences, especially the one in jail was good. The cinematography was really nice, especially towards the climax portions in Egypt, I really liked vidut jamwals performance, shivaleeka did a neat job, dibyendu bhattacharya as rashid quasai was really natural and subtle. Music was really good, songs helped and elevated the narrative.

Some plot points felt a bit forced, especially the ally character in the jail, I wasn't much convenced by it. Sheeba chaddha as thakur felt really badly written, the most Antoganistic thing she ever does is sit in her house and give orders, she felt really passive than of a active Antoganist. Could have improved the screenplay a bit more as the story towards the climax becomes pretty generic and predictable

6/10.

Great
quinnturner-757818 July 2022
The star of this movie is Vidyut Jamwal, who is fantastic. In this movie, he plays a regular parent looking for his daughter who has gone missing to show off his skills as an action hero. You should watch this if you like excellent acting and thought-provoking stories.

Masterpiece movie
rakulpreetsharma8 July 2022
Throughout the film, there are no superfluous sequences or manufactured drama. A more reasonable action thriller with unexpectedly strong performance from the ensemble as a whole. None of the film's scenes felt out of place. All of the songs advance the plot of the film.

Too much of Anti Hindu
sperry-it5 September 2022
The movie plot is god buts its content is too much of anti Hindu. A lady wearing Rudraksha is criminal whose family is involved in raping a 5 Years Old, this is how bollywood try to create sentiments against Hindus. Rudraksh was not at all required for that criminal. It is not that Sheeba (lady in main villain role) wears Rudraksh in her daily life. Designer has specially designed her to look like a criminal and Rudraksh i.e. One of the most sacred element if Sanatan was not at all required for that scene. If Bollwood will keep on defaming Sanatan then Hindu will stop watching Bollywood movies. Boolywood need to think if it want to be neutral or anti Hindu.

Top class second installment of Desi-TAKEN
manishbharambe9 July 2022
Though Khudaa Haafiz series inspired by TAKEN hollywood flick plot, its the pure emotion and story line that keeps you engaged and well choreograped Actions scene by Vidyut.

Jail scene actions were top notch...only one weakness is about negative character which should have been strong against Vidyut.....
