- Much like its predecessor, the remake establishes itself as being violent the first episode seeing Keiichi gruesomely bludgeon Mion and Rena to death with a blood-soaked bat.
- In episode 13 a man gets his head bashed in with a baseball bat. Blood covers the entire room and the first hit does not instantly kill him so he is hit at least 5 times.
- Very grisly, gory, and gruesome. May be traumatising to children. Contains lots of blood, guts, and other harsh deaths and body horror.

- In the 16th episode, Satoko disembowelizes and mutilates Rika. Not only is it extremely visceral, but it is not a brief scene whatsoever, lasting for nearly half the episode
- In episode 8, Mion and Satoko are found shot to death in the hallway of a mansion
