Every time pushes you to ask questions!
erturk-193343 October 2021
It is a great TV show that's developed by Turkish makers. Ihaven't watched such a TV show before this. Actings are great as well as the scenario. Every time you are assuming or guessing something to find the killer or imagining the what will happen! I hope it will continue in this line and continues to keep us be curioused.

Interesting crime drama with surprising twists
mosquitocyn7 October 2021
Recommend to watch. It's a good break from the romcoms, gangster crime and family dramas. This series starts off pretty well. Lots of surprising twists and cliffhangers. I like the cast. Giving it a solid 8. I find that the plot needs to move faster as the suspect is still stubbornly maintaining his silence. Maybe I'm impatient but at least he finally let out a leading clue to get the story going. The leading roles are a good match. Both are strong, confident and good at their jobs. The mood in this series is heavy and I wish there will be lighter moods thrown in as everyone is wearing a serious long face.

It knows how to hook you in
sirenau5 August 2023
Am watching the show in Spanish on Telemundo and so far I have really liked it. It's not original by any stretch of the imagination but so far it has been really good at keeping the intrigue going with the investigations of the predominant criminal case and side cases. It knows how to hook the viewers in. And thankfully it knows that the mystery around the investigations as well as a very likable cast is what will keep us hooked to the story because unfortunately the story is not as good around it's characters as it is the mystery. I would say am more than halfway through the first season and am starting to notice that the story is falling a little short around the character development. Like there is not a single character on this show that stands out so I would be shock if any of the actors get nominated for any awards for this show because there is just not enough in the script for the actors to deliver a compelling performance. And this is weird to understand because if you watch the show, each new crime investigation is directly tied to the majority of the main cast. The cast is well represented on screen so it gives the impression of growth but if you look at the characters from who they are in the episode where the killer of the girl in the suitcase case is revealed and where I am now, in the episode where the killer of the girl in the suitcase appears to have been poisoned in prison, you will notice that the majority of the growth was already established and that the mystery around each crime investigation is the driving force of the storyline. The actors do very good at showing good vibes in their scenes but that's about it. Is not a deal breaker by any means but it's a little disappointing to see the story fall into that pattern when it started so strong off the gate. Like I said, am probably half way through season one so there is more than enough room for things to continue taking turns. But I will say, more than anything else, the issue that I am encountering as the show moves along is the dependence on telling versus showing as well as seemingly major obstacles being resolved by pure coincidence or the favorite go to of the show, very high definition cameras that just happened to have been placed at the perfect spot to capture exactly what was needed to resolve the conflict. And you might say, well these people are cops so they have access to all those security cameras. Yes and you would think that would result in most crimes being resolved fast but what am complaining about is that those cameras will or won't be there depending on what the story needs. Anywhos, prepared to take a bunch of leaps when watching this show. And I do recommend it. I myself am also enjoying the build up of the relationship between the two main characters. I like that it wasn't a love at first sight thing and that the story has taken efforts to show that they are truly compatible with each other. But again, with that said, and this one is also weird considering what I just wrote but the main characters do not have a lot of romantic chemistry. Like they work very well together and it's interesting to see their dynamics as they solve crimes but when it comes to the romance just be glad that it won't really effect much of their interactions or the dynamic. Like their romance is just there and the story wouldn't change a thing because of it. And while am talking about the things I dislike about the show i cannot leave this review without putting out there that the sheer abuse of power by the people who work in the court and police officers is wild lol. I know the story wants us to believe they are doing the right thing when they use their power to hide things partaining their personal lives but these characters could easily be read as villains and as matter of fact, in very few instances the show has shown how that abuse of power has greatly affected others but the only one that has any consequence (for less than an episode) is what happened to one of the main characters father. Like right now am in the storyline where the guy that got poisoned in prison is blackmailing the majority of the main cast with revealing their secrets. The vast majority of those secrets are crimes they each committed or help to hide the crimes of someone they are close that committed the crimes. Like I don't feel bad for that 😂. Am actually offended at their offense. I like my morally ambiguous characters but not when the story doesn't realize the characters are shady af and frame their actions as positives or worthy of being absolve just because it was their secrets being used by someone who has done worst then they have. And to cap this, a few words on the character actually being acknowledged as the villain of the story. I love Turkish dramas because they don't shy away from exploring the worst of characters and specially the villains who are typically shown to often have been victims themselves in their youth resulting in the person they are today. This drama goes the down the same path with less success due to failings I mentioned earlier around the characters and the dependence on telling rather than showing. The story tells us, and very early on it actually bothers to show us, that the villain is psychology scarred due to having spent his entire life being treated inhumanely by his father and not protected in any way by his mother who continues to pick his father and the life of luxury he provides. We even learn that his father at some point had him admitted in a psychiatric hospital for months and that even as an adult his father continued to verbal abuse him and deminish his worth. So when we learn how it was that he came about killing the girl, it was no surprise. Am not in anyway blaming the girl but that whole scene where we see her die could be read as a traumatic response to the girl essentially taking the place of his father. However, by the point I am now in the story, all of this has been left on the road and what we have is just a demented man determined to take the people who put in him prison down with him. As a matter of fact his father, the same one that has been abusing him practically since birth and all around POS is now being viewed as a somewhat victim of his son. I have hope that this will continue to develop as the story goes on, specially now that the story introduced some criminal cases around parental neglect and family violence, because I will be very pissed if the show ends and that man is not in a jail cell. Like death isn't enough punishment (for me at least because seemingly every character in this show is willing to commit murder if the person they believe wrong them is not punished in a way that satisfies them) for the abuse that man inflected on his son.

Amazing acting! :O
sjkenan27 September 2021
Having watched the 2nd episode, I'm fascinated by the talent of the main actress, PInar Deniz, but also Kaan and many other actors. While watching them, you can feel their pain. And you'll see that the mystery of the whole story will make you want to watch more and more. 😊

WOW... Shocking and extremely interesting!
mirjanamanojlovic-2202720 September 2021
So much suspense! This series is so good that after only 5 minutes, it forces you to continue!

I'm most impressed by the sense of justice in this story... even though you expect the story to go a different way, it keeps surprising you!

In addition, the actors are really talented, especially Kaan UrgancIoglu and PInar Deniz.

Looking forward to the next episode.

I've just watched it and I got goosebumps in the end. So exciting from the very beginning, amazing story, brilliant acting, a lot of talent from most actors, especially from Kaan UrgancIoglu (Emir from "Kara Sevda"). I really hope this series becomes successful.

Finally something different!
spenceralex-4492928 September 2021
I've felt that recently Turkish TV dramas started to be predictable and all similar. But with this one, you can't really guess how the story is going to develop, they always surprise you.

I hope it continues to be unpredictable and exciting as it is now.

Crime and mystery at their highest level!
miaaavasiljevic28 September 2021
I'm not really a fan of series, esp. Romantic ones, but this is something different. No unnecessary drama, just great acting, mystery and a lot of suspense. Well, it wouldn't be bad to have some romance in the end, as well. :)

Anyway, those who say that PInar Deniz's acting was exaggerated in the 2nd episode, are those who have never felt (or imagined) the pain of losing someone. I mean, she lost her younger SISTER whom she loved and protected since they were little. So, in my opinion, she magnificently portrayed that unbearable pain.

As for Kaan UrgancIoglu (ILgaz), he's as handsome as always. :) But, the appearance doesn't really matter, I'm really happy that he finally got his main role, I've been waiting for that since "Kara Sevda", I knew someone would finally recognize his great talent.

Good show with some " however"
aboory-098399 September 2023
I watched the first episodes with lots of excitement. As the episodes and story move on, I started saying more whys. Why didn't Engin pay for what he did? Instead, he complicated the story and made more problems to everyone even when he's gone. They made Inci (Ceylin's sister ) look like this sweet innocent person and no one in her family acknowledged the mistakes and secret life she led and she also was gone without paying for her mistakes. Ceylin's character also made mistakes and other characters did as well and the story moved on without justice.

Overall, they acting was good even though I liked the main male character more than the main female because I felt she over acted in many scenes .

I Loved this! But...
pmquann21 August 2022
What a dumb, stupid ending! Honestly, after all these great episodes, you end it like this?! So totally disappointing! Enjoyed it until the end. But I guess money, advertisers, audience numbers, whatever ... but certainly not creativity made you call it a wrap. Too bad? A really bad ending. From a diehard Turkish TV fan and longtime monthly supporter/subscriber.

Surprising twists with romance on the edge...but it turned out so boring!
sukrancetik525 October 2021
I am enjoying every minute of it. They made a very interesting crime drama free from cliches and surely surprising twists keep you engaging.

Besides romance on the edge makes you fall in love with the characters. The chemistry is amazing!

.... I wrote in the first season sadly it lost every good thing after 2nd season because they even want to earn money by stretching it to 3rd season.

Very sad indeed.

Think before you criticize...
clarasomerhalder28 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I know some people are not used to the kind of drama that we can see in this and other Turkish series, but before you criticize the main actress or the plot, just THINK... She's just learned that her younger sister was severely KILLED and thrown into a dumpster like garbage, she's in a great shock, she is full of anger, sadness, rage, she doesn't even allow herself to cry because, she says: she'll drown in tears if she starts. So, she is holding onto the only thing that keeps her going and that is: finding the killer and asking "WHY?"

Anyway, great episode, I'm glad the series shows us how everyone FEELS when the victim's identity is discovered and doesn't only focus on what they DO. Hopefully, the series will keep up the good work. 😊

Very talented actors!
sheilaaddison6 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The main actress doesn't cease to surprise me. The shock and sadness at the fact that her young sister was tortured, killed and thrown away like garbage, and the attempts on the other hand to suppress those feelings and occupy her mind with finding the killer are amazingly portrayed by Pinar.

Kaan on the other hand also has a struggle within himself - on the one hand: responsibility to follow rules and justice, and on the other hand: love for his own blood and faith that his brother is not a killer... and he shows this struggle very well. I also like his voice and elegant gestures and movement, he's a unique actor to be honest.

I can't get enough of watching this series, really great job!

what mesmerizing plot and amazing acting
hagenour4 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The story and plot of this series is very strongly woven, every character in its own is a well of secrets, so you can't trust anyone of them :P.

And the most thrilling thing about this series is that the events are beyond expectations and in every scene there is a shocking story... Believe me you just can't take your eyes off.

Now, let's talk about the acting, it is beyond description, and without any exaggeration I felt as if I am with them , I felt their shock, their sadness , their pain, and for an instance I started thinking and brainstorming with them.

Bravo, Bravo , Bravo .....

Suspenseful and exciting series
redeem_er16 October 2021
Season 3: Best of the best! 100/100. Brilliantly written and as always outstanding execution! And yes it still got its wonderful touch in season 3.

Season 2: 20/20 Super duper great story. Wonderfully written and well executed! Sometime a following season is boring and talk talk talk, but not Yargi. It still got its touch in season 2.

Season 1: 10/10 Yargi is an excellent series. Worth to watch it! The series is suspenseful, edgy, sentimental, and does not bore you. A cliffhanger at end of each episode.

'Chapeau bas' to all the actors especially Sir Kaan and radiant "Queen" Pinar, they have a wonderful sweet chemistry, and of course not to forget the "King" sweet weasel 'Yekta'.

GREAT START TO A SHOW
ophe-9359019 October 2021
So far so good I like everything about the two leading actors. But am afraid to love it because Turkey has a bad habit of canceling shows without much warning. Just when things are getting good and you settle in to enjoy the show bam it is canceled.
