The contestants all seemed so arrogant or like bullies that there was no one to root for and completions were boring. The hosts were annoying and need to be replaced. I gave it a shot but I won't be watching episode 2.
The show isn't original, there isn't much humor, most of the people seem boring and nervous.

I lik this show. Good competitions and I enjoy watching all things Dodgeball. It's silly but fun. I just wish there was more straight, regular Dodgeball, as most of the episode is the obstacle course. But still fun.

Just when I think TV cannot get any dumber. This proves what a great actor Josh Gates happens to be. He can say what a great show it is with a straight face!

If the thrill of hitting someone with a dodgeball resonates with you, then you might enjoy this show.
In each episode, 8 contestants square off in elimination matches, hoping to be the last person standing, which makes you eligible for the season ending Tournament of Champions and the $25,000 prize.
It's a fast moving show with plenty of action.
In the first and second rounds, competitors run an obstacle course, trying to avoid being hit by balls. Each hit by a red ball counts against you.
The final round is similar to the schoolyard dodgeball everyone is familiar with: two teams square off in an arena. The teams are picked by the remaining two players. But this is not your father's dodgeball. Teams have hidden weapons, gattling guns, bandoliers of balls, and shields at their disposal.
The first two episodes include some good athletes from various backgrounds. And the games look like fun.

The show is funny, but the course clearly favors a very specific type of person. If you look at each of the winners in the first season they all look alike. Hopefully, in season 2, if the show makes it that far, the course is changed to allow more diversity in body types.

It's fun to watch but it's a dodgeball show. It's kinda lame that only 5% of all the competitors of the season are dodgeball players / knows how to play dodgeball / can play dodgeball / have any idea what dodgeball is.
Maybe next season, if the show tries to get dodgeball players to compete, we can really enjoy the whole experience.

This has got to be the lamest sports show ever created. Full metal hopscotch can't be far away.

This show could be the worst and the weakest show of discovery channel. What a waste of time&money.

Very action packed, high competitiveness between the contestants so far and the hosts are engaging and generally seem to enjoy their work

I almost turned it off when they were introducing the hosts for like 5 plus dang minutes but gotta give them props for creating this cos it's actually fun to watch. Funny lines, the chubby Carlos friend guy is hilarious, and the course is like a muddy Wipeout course. Girl host does well, she's no Jill but she's fun and energetic. Hope they bring this back to Discovery+!

Love the humour on these, though People find the contestants are bullies but I see them as competitive. Like how boxers would taunt each other.
