Sweet Home season 3 reunites Lee Do-hyun and Go Min-si, showcasing their strong on-screen chemistry once again. The unique dynamic between Eun-hyeok and Eun-yu in Sweet Home's first season evolves into a tight-knit relationship over time. Lee Do-hyun and Go Min-si's acting talents shine in Sweet Home, Youth of May, and Reincarnation Love, demonstrating their versatile skills.
I'm so glad that Sweet Home season 3 reunited Lee Do-hyun and Go Min-si and continued their long working history together. Eun-hyuk's death in Sweet Home's first season was one of the show's most heartbreaking scenes, especially knowing how devastated Go Min-si's Eun-yu was and how much of an impact it had on her character. So, the final twist in Sweet Home's season 2 ending was a welcome surprise, especially knowing that it would bring the on-screen siblings back together again for a well-deserved reunion.

Today was quite the morning at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened there, and guests descended upon The Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., to purchase opening-day merchandise.
As expected, the initial lines were long.

Go Min-si stars in Netflix's The Frog, a mystery thriller premiering in Q3 2024. 2024 will be big for Go Min-si with Sweet Home season 3 and The Frog releasing on Netflix. Netflix has found success with original Korean dramas, the first of which starred Go Min-si in a supporting role in 2019.
Go Min-sis next K-drama on Netflix is her perfect Sweet Home replacement, and it arrives in 2024. Since the release of Love Alarm in 2019, Netflix has become the home to multiple original Korean shows between scripted and non-scripted series. Some of Netflixs biggest shows of all time are original Korean productions, not to mention traditional K-dramas that are distributed globally by the platform. Some of the most exciting Netflix 2024 K-dramas have yet to premiere, including Sweet Home season 3 and the debut of a brand-new series starring Go Min-si.
Following her debut in 2016, Go Min-si has been in a few of the best K-dramas of her generation.

Disney Princesses are often depicted with poor characterization, perpetuating harmful gender stereotypes. The Princess and the Frog undermines Tiana's career goals, suggesting that love and family are more important. Frozen undermines Elsa's empowering moment in "Let It Go" by returning her to societal pressures and threats from her powers.
While it is no secret that the Disney Princess movies have aged poorly in some ways, even the most recent movies do wrong by their heroines because of how they are treated within the story itself. This goes beyond the basic conflict with the villain needed to make the story happen. Disney Princesses are patronized by allies, villains, and most often, the people making the movie.

The Princess and the Frog was Disney's return to traditional animation after a five-year hiatus following Home on the Range. Directed by the legendary duo of John Musker and Ron Clements, the film is a modern adaptation of the classic tale The Frog Prince, giving it a modern twist by setting it in 1920s New Orleans. Sadly, it didn't make as much money as Disney was hoping, and coupled with the success of Tangled, the company ceased producing 2D animated films following Winnie the Pooh.

As Lovecraft once put it, “the oldest and strongest kind of fear is the fear of the unknown,” which I think perfectly summarizes why cosmic horror stories are so effective. Commonly defined as a subgenre of fiction that derives scares from existential and/or incomprehensible threats, cosmic horror presents us with situations where knowledge isn’t necessarily power and the protagonists can’t always win. And with video games allowing players to virtually experience stories instead of merely observing them, it makes sense that developers frequently borrow from Lovecraftian fiction when attempting to tell deranged yarns.
However, not all cosmic scares are created equal, so we’ve decided to come up with a list celebrating six of the most disturbing moments of cosmic horror in video games. After all, it’s worth remembering that horror gaming has the potential for more than mere jump scares and repetitive zombie killing.
For the purposes of this list,...

The announced pairings are Michelle Williams and Rumer Willis; Joey Fatone and Bow Wow; and Victor Oladipo and Barry Zito. No word yet on if we may see the return of one of its controversial political unmaskings, which have included Sarah Palin and Rudy Giuliani.
This standalone unmasking may be new to American audiences,...

While much of the initial fanbase that helped turn Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into a pop culture phenomenon aged out following the original cartoon (1987-1996) and live action movies (1990-1993), the property has continued to flourish with reboots in TV, film, and comics every few years.
If the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem has you interested in exploring various versions of Tmnt, there’s no better place for a horror fan to start than Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series that aired for five seasons between 2012 and 2017.
While there’s an inherent connection to horror in the various mutants and monsters that pop up throughout the franchise, no rendition embraces the genre nearly as much as this one. In addition to references to classics like Alien, Friday the 13th, and The Evil Dead, the series employed several notable horror actors throughout its 124-episode run.

The Disney theme parks are known for having fantastic rides, and many of their best ones tend to be based on popular movie franchises. While classics like the Matterhorn and Space Mountain stand on their own without any franchise behind them, having a film to base a ride around makes it so much more immersive and exciting.
Additionally, with Splash Mountain getting a Princess and the Frog revamp and Big Thunder Mountain getting an upcoming movie, it's clear that fans love having a movie tie-in to the rides. The parks also have a long history of thematically basing rides around movies. Some of these include the Mad Tea Party, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Snow White's Enchanted Wish, and Peter Pan's Flight, some of which were opening day attractions back in 1955. The Disney rides have come a long way since then, with many more being added as the parks expanded. Here...

When it premiered in 2013, Frozen featured so many differences from the usual Disney model that it changed the studio's animated movies forever. The film is another fairy tale adaptation, following the story of "The Snow Queen" but focused on two sisters, Elsa and Anna, as the former deals with her dangerous ice powers. Frozen became a huge hit, as audiences couldn't get songs like "Let It Go" and "Love Is an Open Door" out of their heads. They also fell in love with the adorable snowman Olaf, and his popularity catapulted actor Josh Gad into the spotlight.
The success of the film continued beyond its glowing reviews and many box office achievements with Academy Award wins for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for "Let It Go." Frozen spawned an even more prosperous sequel in 2019, and a third Frozen movie is due in 2025. Years later, Frozen remains as popular and relevant as ever,...

Disney’s Song of the South is one of the most controversial Disney movies out there. If you have never heard of it, there’s a good reason. Disney has gone to great lengths to pretend that the movie doesn’t even exist. That’s why, despite Disney+ making most of their old and new movies available for everyone to watch, Song of the South will never be on the service.
Recently, it has come back into the public eye as Disney has now closed Splash Mountain in its Florida and California locations. This ride was one of the only ties left to Song of the South, as it was based on the movie’s animated segments/ The ride is now being converted into a Princess and the Frog theme. Disney has remade countless films and is working on more, but Song of the South must be left in the past. The Little Mermaid is set to hit theaters at the end of May, and Disney has already begun announcing cast members for the upcoming Lilo & Stitch live-action film. So far, the company has faced a lot of criticism for casting light skin actors in the roles when the original animated characters had darker skin, reflecting their Pacific Islander heritage. Disney had done a lot to correct their past mistakes, like changing lyrics in The Little Mermaid songs for the new film.
However, Song of the South is a film that can't be corrected or revived. Disney recently shut down the Splash Mountain ride at the Disney parks as it was based on the racist film. Instead, they are replacing it with a new ride based on The Princess and The Frog,...

Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus‘ 2017 collaboration “Rainbowland” got 86’d from a first-grade spring concert setlist after school district officials in Wisconsin deemed the track controversial.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the parent of a first grader in Waukesha, Wisconsin, was excited about the Parton-Cyrus collab, along with some of the other songs slated to be part of the spring concert, which included Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World and Kermit the Frog’s “Rainbow Connection” from The Muppet Movie.
As for why the track that celebrates acceptance was banned from the spring concert, one parent told The Times that “the school district of Waukesha has really cracked down on anything LGBTQ” and that “this song being an ‘issue’ has not in any way come as a surprise.”

The '80s was a pretty great time to be an undead bloodsucker. Writers and directors were clearly enjoying themselves playing with the old tropes; Tony Scott's "The Hunger" dispensed with fangs altogether and toyed with the idea of vampire immortality before turning into softcore erotica; Nicolas Cage lost the plot and munched live cockroaches in "Vampire's Kiss;" Kathryn Bigelow brought a Western theme to her mean and moody "Near Dark;" and "Lifeforce" even gave us vampires from outer space. To top it all off, Count Dracula teamed up with other classic Universal monsters like the Wolf Man and the Mummy in "The Monster Squad." These movies left behind the spooky castles and misty graveyards of Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee's iconic iterations of Bram Stoker's most famous creation, bringing the vampire myth right into the modern world.

The Disney+ series "Loki" gave us a whole lot of Tom Hiddleston (thank you) through a story about his character's redemption. We watched him fall in love with himself in the form of Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) -- hey, this is Loki we're talking about here -- and we saw him try to solve the mystery of the Time Variance Authority, take down the system, and break open the multiverse. We also got a dose of Alligator Loki and Frog Thor, and if those two things don't satisfy you, I don't know what will.

In late 2021, Fox’s reality TV show “The Masked Singer” took a trip down memory lane and revealed its Top 10 best performances of all time, ranked. At the time the special aired, the program was midway through its sixth season, so only performances from Seasons 1-5 were considered for this “All-Time Countdown.” In case you missed it, we’ve provided videos of all of these wild and wacky (and emotional) performances down below. As always, Nick Cannon hosted “The Masked Singer” retrospective. The all-star panelists are Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger.

Exclusive: In an unusual move, but one that speaks to fluidity in the distribution landscape and increasing demand for foreign-language series, LA-based film firm The Exchange is launching world sales (excluding Iran) at the upcoming Cannes virtual market on hit Iranian TV series The Frog.
The series follows Ramin, a man dissatisfied with a life of low-paying petty crime in Tehran, who determines with friends to rob an enormously wealthy former classmate. However, the theft goes fatally awry and Ramin finds himself entangled in a dangerous web of deceit involving the police, local gangsters, and greedy family members.
It’s rare for TV series to be launched at film markets. But the very concept of a market has been fraying in recent years, especially in the Covid era. Sales increasingly take place across the year and traditional film companies are increasingly working in TV.

Barbra Streisand has unearthed a previously unreleased duet with Willie Nelson, “I’d Want It to Be You,” which will appear on her upcoming rarities album, Release Me 2, out August 6th via Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings.
Streisand and Nelson’s version of “I’d Want It to Be You” was meant to appear on Streisand’s 2014 album, Partners, a collection of duets with various male singers. The duet, however, didn’t make the final cut as the track was still a work-in-progress when it came time to release the album.

Australia might just be in for an Academy Award win come Monday, with Love and Monsters tipped as a dark horse in this year’s race for the Visual Effects Oscar.
Matt Sloan, Genevieve Camilleri, Matt Everitt and Brian Cox are on the ballot for their work crafting giant, mutated creatures for the Brisbane-shot post-apocalyptic film, each imbued with its own individual characteristics and unique personality.
But while it might be easy to assume Love and Monsters is a creature feature at first glance, VFX supervisor Sloan says director Michael Matthews made it clear at the outset the film was “not about monsters.”
A comedy adventure, Love and Monsters is set in a world where humans have been forced underground after giant creatures took control of the land.

After only three episodes of “The Masked Singer” we are already at the play-off stage for Group B. Back on March 17, the five celebrities in this group made their debuts as Black Swan, Chameleon, Grandpa Monster, Phoenix and Piglet. Phoenix failed to get a rise from the four judges and was revealed by guest host Niecy Nash to be Caitlyn Jenner.
On March 31, the four remaining celebrities in Group B will once again take to the stage and raise their voices in song in episode 4 of season 5 of “The Masked Singer.” They will be joined by the second of Wildcard contestants, who will appear at the end of the episode to vie for votes.
The five contestants in Group A first competed on the season 5 premiere, which aired on March 10. Porcupine (who calls himself Robopine), Raccoon, Russian Dolls and Seashell got the go-ahead to continue in the competition. The fifth entry,...

For as much as you’ll likely grow tired of hearing the term “game-changing” in the new season of The Masked Singer, you’ve gotta admit: The descriptor is factually accurate.
Because Season 5 of Fox’s really weird singing show will mess with its standard formula, via the wild card contestants we (kind of) meet (in silhouette) at the top of the premiere. Who are these rogue actors, who have the ability to switch up the competition (cough such as it is cough)? We… still don’t know.
