Despite all the plaudits here (clearly written by fellow Christians) this not a good film. It's poorly written, poorly acted and poorly directed. I have nothing against Christian movies, it's just that I've rarely seen a good one. Horror fans can safely skip this one.

This film starts off slow, the music doesn't match. I didn't get past the 1st 15 minutes. Being the family are the actors, and the wife directed the film will explain the horrible acting. Starts off super slow, with no real direction. I've watched many independent films and this was 1 of the worst I've seen. I understand she may not be a professional and wanted to get her story out there, but I couldn't bare waiting for the story line to get started. If you have an hour or more to waste, or need help falling asleep well this is the movie for you. Believe the other reviews that ranked it a 2. The ones that have it a 10 have to know them personally and a great support. There is no way it's a 10. Not even higher than a 5.

This was definitely a floater of a movie. Something tells me the people who ranted on about it being a good "Christian " film are also Qanon believers and own a little red trucker hat...because this movie was absolute garbage. The kids were actually the best actors in the entire film.
I would have much preferred to watch a cheesy documentary on this supposed "true story" than to have suffered the terrible acting, non existent plot and the awful awful music.
Why o why did they force steroid Matt Damon from "Stillwater" to read a book on camera? There's a reason this movie only has 2 stars in prime...because you can't give negative stars.

WTF did I just watch? What is this doing on mainstream streaming platforms? This is a family home video. It belongs boxed up in the attic with all the other pictures and video nobody outside the family would possibly care about, not on my TV. This is less interesting than a strangers vacation slide show.
Anything I say now is to make enough characters to be able to post the review. There really is nothing else to say. It's a garbage film. Don't waste your time, this isn't even a so bad it's funny kind of situation. Makes me embarrassed to be from Texas. Lame family. They must be pretty full of them selves to think the rest of the world cares... Typical evangelical I suppose.

I watched this movie The Exorcism in Amarillo after watching this families other comedy movie, The Badge, The Bible and Bigfoot. It is good for a few laughs. It would be hard to believe that this movie was made with the intention of being serious. I found the story stupid and the acting atrocious. These people need to find another way to make money because film making is not their talent. Maybe they would be as faith healers. I would not recommend watching unless suffering from insomnia and using a cpap. If you think this movie is serious than you are probably a evangelical, bible thumping maga maniac.
Another garbage film from the Wright klan.

It is impossible to watch anything made by the Wrights without wanting to throw-uo a little. That everything they do is so incompetent and poorly made isn't even the worst part.
Like every other release of theirs I've watched, I watched this with friends, knowing it was going to be a disaster. This movie is ugly propaganda for those sad, sad people who live afraid of the world. From the Proud Boys beard to their rabid obsession with demons and devils, this is red meat for The Duggar's fan base at their worst. (And that is saying something.) It's just bad. Though to be fair - it's not their worst outing. They have learned a little bit about how sound actually works. Just kidding. They don't have a clue what their doing.
On a good note - the Wrights consistently demonstrate everything wrong with the cultish homeschool community that seems to gobble these up.

Clearly the "good reviews" are from people who know this family, because I feel as though I wasted 1.5 hours of my life I won't ever get back again. Even the scene about the big scary "pumpkin man" attacking, makes NO sense. Then it simply goes from that scene to the other with the chickens in the yard? What makes her believe, she was possessed? On what Biblical grounds was it proven? A simple book won't open a door, nor will it cause a possession. And why did the pastor look like a weird version of the scarecrow?. It's just a bad movie all around, and not believable. As a Disciple of JESUS, we have dominion HERE, and nothing can control us unless we yield to it.

I would ignore the reviews left by people who stole the film illegally off of
torrent sites which clearly would show the hate for a Christian film. It is
sad to me they lie, steal, and cheat, and tear down films on this site. I think
the reason a good christian family has YouTube ranking off would be from nasty material and hate messages that happen to all Christian film trolls as you
can see from them all when you look at the reviews.
The film is not a million dollar film and it ws great for the budget spent.
This film did make me jump throughout the film, it was very suspenseful. At the end of the film it had me wanting more. It left me with many different emotions as I normally don't sit through the credits. It was the first time, I have seen this type of film with no foul language. I now have a more realistic view on spiritual warfare.
The film is not a million dollar film and it ws great for the budget spent.

I would start by saying acting could have been better, but I think they
did a good job overall. If I asked them to go to acting school then they would be worse and look like crack heads moving around too much as
the Hollywood flicks do. I like that this was real, and instead of focusing
on negatives about music, I actually learned and focused on the point
of the film. This does help educate us part-time christians, and has opened my eyes to be careful of what's in my house with my kids. I am happy that someone made a film to testify on there experience and they were not too scared of what others thought to do this. Thumbs up and you have my respect.

This is an excellent independent film about a subject that many unbelievers would dismiss! It enlightens one about the dangers of dabbling in the occult. David, Ashley,and their 3 young daughters give a very believable performance! I also enjoyed all the music and songs accompanying this film! Very well done! I highly recommend this film!!!

When her husband goes off to fight a war for his country, his wife and three daughters are left to fight a war of their own...with a demon. Very well done. Kudo's to all Wright family members. I am buying several copies of the film to share with family and friends.
Not bad for the budget. Good film on real spiritual warfare not fake

I enjoyed the film, even though it was not a large cast. It was nice to see a Christian spin on this. I was use to seeing all the fake million dollar praise
evil with gore versions. I would not give this a 10, but a 1 is the usual attack on
faith based films. I am laughing that these men who stole the film, are to real
men and could not pay for a product but expect us to listen to the review they leave. Now that is garbage. The film was very realistic, and they did a overall
good job. Anyone that does not support what they are doing with these films
needs help, or needs to see where their heart really is.
A great film that you must watch. Do not miss this movie.

My wife and I loved this film. It was very suspenseful and kept your interest to the very end. The production values were excellent. The sound effects and music added to the film tremendously. I don't know if it is widely known, but this type of demon possession has happened many times in history. Quite a few documented accounts come to mind. All in all, it is very well done and definitely worth watching.
