anthology series of indie horror/scifi/'sploitation shorts...
stoneweather2 April 2022
I've watched the first 3 seasons and about to watch the 4th, this isn't an amazing series by any stretch, but some of these shorts are pretty decent, and literally short, so if you don't like one episode you may like the next, and so on, very digestible.

Also, only season 1 is listed on here, what's up with that?

If you enjoy half a story then you will love these.

People that compare this to Twilight Zone and Black Mirror are way off target.

Etheria is the Queen of Half tales and very few clever endings.

With Twilight Zone the stories were clever tales with twists and surprise turns as endings , these just end without any sort of satisfaction to the tale.

A few are good but a very few out of all the six seasons are worth a watch.

Many are so low budget the props are laughable there is zero effort , if the stories were really good you probably would not care but they are not.

Some of the actors are really good you can see they have real talent to offer but wasted here totally.

Many of the stories just rely on meaningless violence and plenty of blood because there is no substance to the scripts.

If you're thinking of watching this...

Then think again, I watched the first episode and thought that it ended bizarrely but I reckoned it would explain more in the 2nd episode, I watched the 2nd episode and it was a completely different story, in fact all of the stories are self contained and each one is terrible, the only half decent one is the 2nd episode and that is a stretch.

This is poorly written with poor ideas, it is an amateurish attempt at the Twilight Zone but fails so completely, surely one of the crew on this knew this was awful but they released it anyway.

Twisted story line like The Twilight Zone(s) and Black Mirror series

Only watched the first episode and it was captivating right from the start. If you're able to watch all the really short episodes in a row without interruptions or even with short commercial breaks between episodes, then this might be a successful series. For those like me with no TV service (too expensive) and have to manually find a FREE streaming site and stream the episodes one at a time, then it becomes too much of a chore. I won't be watching the remainder of the series.

Very surprisingly different.

Like every short story and anthology collection, be it in a published book, tv series, or done as a shocky over budgeted movie, this series (created by female writers and directors) sadly has some cringeworthy bad episodes that I refuse to name for not insulting the people that make them, yet there are truly gems that stick in memory. This yearly series of collections is mixed. Overall the gems outnumber. Loved C U Later Tuesday on the Fifth Season it was laughable and a half. A lot of effort was put into the making of each episode and it does show. If one turns you off, the next one will be better.
