Opening and closing entrance doors
stanka-vitlov1 April 2022
In every episode all characters knock on doors, doors are opened, they come in. And this is reprated at least 10 times. Mosrly Volkan knocking on Asyes door, but other characters walk and knock and ring... Just Count! Very irritating.

Asya Arslan !!
pintosinder8 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Really enjoying the series, a very slick show that was well written, well produced and brilliantly acted. Asya Arslan and Volkan Arslan are excellent as the lead couple. Asya initial paranoia and subsequent problems are brilliantly being realized, and it all came down to the in the first episode, what an outstanding way to get the issue. So far, Sadakatsiz manages to keep it entertaining and gripping all the way through, it was filled with twists and turns, you have no idea what was going to happen next. I love how Asya will learn quickly be careful in selecting friends as they can bring both positive and negative impacts on life. Be careful of backstabbers, they are everywhere. At your place of work, in your family, neighbourhood or for that matter, could be standing and. laying right next to you pretending to be your best friend. Episode 2 and more can't wait!

9/10 exceptional drama.

Cansu acting is superb!
pintosinder17 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Excellent show. I think too many people are saying this show should be written based on what they would do in a cheating marriage situation but instead you should just appreciate the show for what it is and realize it's a story about how this person is reacting which is rather interesting. The acting is great, good styling and lots of suspense, twists and surprises.

What a show I could relate to many of the emotions she Cansu goes through. I love the Turkish adaption because it teaches you that marriages are emotionally complex and fraught with fissures that fragment under stress and change. The more honest we are about what really happens in relationships and family life, the more likely we are to understand them and prevent them from rotting into something this bad. That's why this drama has struck for me because it reflects the life that too many of us have, or have had.

Cansu acting is superb! Acting is so raw, reflective and if nothing else it teaches you that in this life anything can happen. Nothing is guaranteed!

One of the best

Of all the Turkish series that I have watched this is one of the best. The plot keeps you wanting to watch. I watched 21 episodes in 3 days. The acting is superb. Both the leads are excellent actors and so is the supporting cast. Very well written. Touches the heart in so many ways. A must watch.

Let's be honest
ohayoamy5 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Okey, let's be honest. This show, not so perfect. Everyone cheating their wifes and this is not looking good. Volkan is cheating her wife for 2 years and Asya's all friends knew that. And Bahar's husband is cheating her with Asya. I know this is so weird. And Derin,(Volkan's girlfriend) she is pregnant to Volkan. After 2 years Volkan and Derin goes America. Then they are back. And Ali. Ali is Asya's son. And his father is Volkan. 2 years after Volkan came back and he wants to take Ali.

It's actually interesting but you can't say "Wow!" You can say "...and he is chaeating her right?"

terrible ending
royakashanii27 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This series should be named "The door". Majority of the show consisted of people opening doors or making phone calls. Some great acting by volkan however the plot and especially the ending was very dumb. Derin did a good job in portraying a borderline wife.

Everything was blamed on volkan as if others have no control over their lives. First season was great, second season was a drag and very tedious Especially by entrance of Aras and the change of character of Asya.

Turkey has some great actors but terrible plot writers.

Cansu Dere at her best
LadyJess5178212 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It's something different, that's for sure. The way the wife deals with the cheating husband is quite unorthodox for Turkish TV, and it is quite refreshing. I hope the story keeps the momentum and doesn't get suffocated under the restrictions and becomes a melodrama at it's worst (episode 5 got fined due to immoral actions done by the wife). The main actress is superb, really carries the entire show.

If I have to compare it to the British original, this one is more mellow and a lot less explicit. The tone is set a bit differently and seems to make the main protagonist more likeable. Still, highly recommended.

What a pity, this had so much potential
panagouraf17 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This series started out strong but decreased in value after the 10th episode or so. The first episodes were gripping, hauntingly sad, beautifully directed and very well thought of. Sadly, the show fell flat on its face after the end of season 1, as the scenario became more and more tedious and kept repeating the same old patterns.

Cansu Dere really puts her best foot forward, as respected doctor Asya, who finds her marriage collapsing after discovering her husband's extramarital affair. Even if she loses momentum in the second season, she still manages to convey the ordeal of the cheated woman and achieves a great balance between fragility and confidence.

I really liked Caner Cindoruk's acting skills and found that his facial expressions when losing Asya never failed to make my heart ache. Melis Sezen is very talented for her age and did a really thorough job as the obsessed girlfriend. The supporting cast is also very professional, convincing and deserves to be praised.

My overall impression is what kept this series going is the popularity of the lead actress, the music and some really good cliffhangers. Maybe straying so far from Doctor Foster was not such a good idea. With a mesmerizing score, a good supporting cast and the undeniable chemistry between its lead actors, this dizi was paving the road to greatness until bad screenwriting ruined it all. What a waste!

Insulting the intelligence of the audience
h_aazh15 September 2022
This series has a lot of ups and downs but aside from rationalizing the behaviors of Asya as a powerful woman while she is making wrong decisions (getting involved in a romantic relationship with her patient Aras who is suffering from amnesia and a dramatic shock, for example), its ending is the most irrational part! Just imagine a doctor is breaking up with her partner because of guilt feeling for a man's death and then tries to destroy that man's family!!!!

It seems that the producers and the director weren't able to decide on the ending and just wanted to terminate it!

Moreover, this series is full of hate, narcissistic behavior and assaults which can be detrimental to the mental health of the audiences.

As psychiatrist, I don't suggest people to watch this toxic series!

Amazing characters and outstanding performance of Cansu Dere! Actress of the decade!
jelenajlsstojanovic14 November 2020
This is TV show is very profound, touching and honest... Brutally true storyline followed with amazingly selected cast add new value to this serie. The role and performance of Cansu Dere are totally outstanding - she grows with every new project and reveals much more than talent and cosmic energy! She is mainly responsible for high impressions of this show! Great work!

Great actors terrible plot writers :(
evi-7501125 August 2022
I didn't watch Dr foster (the initial concept which the series is based on)because I don't like this kind of dramas. I started watching Turkish version by chance and because i didn't have anything else to watch that time. But it was great at first!!actors were great and most of the dialogues so natural! You feel as the story is happening to a friend of yours! And the way they act is so real!also much food for thought is given concerning toxic relationships and how important is to avoid them!

But unfortunately second season was a disaster the series become a poor soap opera...Everything is being repeated and Aras is presented as another Volkan what a stupid decision from the direction!!!Asya is NOT a strong woman as she can't move on,love and be loved or get married again. Moreover it becomes tiring to watch again and again Volcan ruining other peoples lives and nobody is able to react. This is not real and strong characters are not like this at all. Everyone acts as a victim and this is sooo boring and this is not a good example. We need strong heroes with strong personalities to make us feel better not people acting as pawns all the time Finally I think that the directors had two options only either to follow Dr Foster's initial scenario or make a new one much better with a happy ending in Asya's life with another healthy marriage. This would satisfy the audience and give the sense not only of excitement but also the idea that life has also a good aspect!!Neither of them happens unfortunately, the end concerning Asya is completely indifferent. Asya should have been married to Aras, that's the point!

I think Turkish actors are great but the plot writers are not able to give them the chance to show their talent Asya Derin Volcan Gonul(excellent at the role of a mother who really loves her family)congratulations for your acting I hope to watch you in other better shows one day!

One of those good turkish series
juneb-2089821 November 2021
This series has a good story, nice flow, good acting, just the right characters without the unnecessary ones. Lead characters are really good as well as supporting ones. Cansu Dere is a good actress, perfect for the role, the character is well acted and very suitable. One of those easy to watch without even questioning yourself why you're watching it or why this and that is happening, it's flawless or at least less of the stup!d stuff ever present in most turkish series. No giggly romantics just realistic scenes and it's still interesting and full of surprises and twists. Love it!

A project that has become huge with Cansu Dere's great acting. It has been a more successful series than its adaptation.

Excellent
cheinric-9552626 January 2022
I have watched many turkish shows with english subtitles and have to say that this is probably one of the very best based on the flow of the story, the level of emotions evidenced, the excellence in acting and bringing these emotions to the screen, the beautiful display of wardrobe, the influence of morality in cultures; it does not get any better than this!..the only negative comment I have and this is not only for this series is that the translation could use some help. Pronouns are never correct and some of the words are not correct in their translations. Otherwise I give this a 9. Grateful for the english subtitles!

Perfect DRAMA
elbourini13 November 2020
Excellent Scenario, more or less real, and reflects similar real life stories. The Story might not be new to the world, however it shows different angles and perceptions in details. Very good job done by the whole cast.

Why the low rating?
smmoadeli6 February 2022
This deserves a 9. Im the type of person who don't watch TV. Ever.

Yet, this got me glued to the TV for days on end, binge watching the series back to back to back.

Im truly stunned. Its so captivating, the lounge between my life and the series gets blurred. I feel like I'm there and very much part of it.

I'd like to look into the lead actress' other movies, but it wouldn't be the same without volkan in it. :(

Outstanding Cast = Great Show!
martudurruty2 April 2024
From the very first episode until the last, I was completely shook with the acting perfomances on this dizi.

The cast is absolutely what brings to life this story about betrayals, heartbreaks and revenge.

It ocurrs in Tekirdag, a small town outside Istambul, where Asya is the leader at the local hospital and she is married to Volkan, a very popular architect in Turkey. But, things are going to turn around for Asya as she founds out that her husband has been cheating on her with a much younger woman.

All though the episodes, you will experience INCREDIBLE performances by an amazing cast that I seriously bought everything that was happening, it was extremely real at a point.

Especially, I want to stand out, Melis Sezen, as Derin, she completely steals the show. She is incredible in every single way, and shot the hardest scenes to watch.

Also, Cansu Dere, the ACTRESS you are! She is an absolute legend, bow down to you!

YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS!

Outstanding acting, groundbreaking plot. Promises fascination Warning: Spoilers
Despite the doubts that might be awaken from it being a Turkish series I can tell you it won't be as cliché as you expect.

The characters in this series and mainly Asya Yilmath are perfectly and amazingly curated, they grow and they develop connections between themselves which sometimes transform the plot.

For what regards to the plot it is astonishing. The characters make the plot real and it seems like if it grew for itself. The script's characterisation is clever and the writers have the ability to convince the spectator of what's happening on the series and to surprise the audience with unexpected turns in every single episode, being that a modernised old technique.

The series is excellent and I absolutely recommend this series to everyone.
