Amazon MGM Studios is not proceeding with the Untitled J. Edgar project, one of the Bosch spinoffs that had been in development at the studio. Meanwhile, Amazon Freevee is not moving forward with the Who’s the Boss? sequel starring Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano, which had been in the works at the streamer.

The Untitled J. Edgar project was on of two Bosch spinoffs announced in February 2023 as being in development at Amazon MGM. The other, which centers on Detective Renée Ballard, was picked up to series earlier this year with Maggie Q starring.

Larry Andries (Blue Bloods) was writing the script for the J. Edgar spinoff, which he executive produced with Michael Connelly, author of the Harry Bosch book series. Andries in March was charged with six felony counts of sexual assault.

Audiences appear to be blown away by Twisters as social media buzzes with the first reactions to the high-velocity action film. Creed and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler keeps adding to his slate of projects. He’s currently developing a reboot of the TV series The X-Files for Fox and is in production on an untitled supernatural thriller starring Michael B. Josh Lucas is engaged to meteorologist Brianna Ruffalo, with the actor announcing the news Saturday.

Lucas, whose recent credits include Yellowstone and Palm Royale, took to Instagram to share footage of Ruffalo getting emotional while wearing her ring as musicians performed for the couple in the background. According to their posts, Lucas and Ruffalo have been together since the fall of 2022.

In dieser Funktion bestimmt sie allein über den „Edgar“, den Wettbewerbspreis für den besten modernen Heimatfilm aus dem Programm.
