Anyone hoping for the next Gomorrah will be disappointed, especially at the start of this Italian gang drama set in Milan. The first 2-3 episodes are average at best, with a confusing mix of characters, none of whom I would describe as compelling.

However I think it massively improves as you get to know the characters. The production values are good, there are plenty of interesting camera things going on (that's the technical term) and the soundtrack is excellent. The leader of the Salvadoran gang gradually becomes more involved and is, in my opinion, the best character.

Yes, the 3 young friends can be annoying and just how many sex scenes do we need? But you kind of root for them.

I would say well worth a watch. It's not Gomorrah, but what is?

Slow start but gripping towards the end .

I thought it was slow in the beginning but stick with it . If you like the Mafia Street gang thing you will like this . The 3 main characters were young twenty somethings trying to get rich quick typical story that had quite a gripping ending . I think 7/10 is fair . I enjoyed Blocco 181 . Looks like there will be a 2nd series too.

Cant wait for S.2!

I really enjoyed this, just a shame there is only 8 episodes and 1 season so far.

As its only just been released we will have to wait at least a year now see if they make a season 2, hopefully.

It got gripping towards the end and they have left it open for great storylines to come I imagine esp after the climax of the 1st season so cant wait !

It seems this has been aimed at 13 yo,poor story,some atrocious acting and the three main characters annoyed me so much I wanted them to die.

I knew this was rubbish after the 3rd episode but i ground it out till the end because I'm a glutton for punishment.

Avoid.
