They tried to get the money for the ransom. Uncle george is back.they know more about the community where leanne is into. George come to get Leanne. This episode is interesting but too much talking in my opinion but still enjoyed the investigations. . The mysteries are the strong poinnt in this episode i enjoyed it.
I'm getting a feeling that Julian has somehow willingly, or under Duress, orchestrated all of this from behind-the-scenes from the very beginning, and the situation is getting increasingly worse daily. It's like Julian's desperate plea to get our of whatever horrible situation he's gotten himself into. He's so desperate that he is willing to go through a lot of trouble to blackmail his sister and his brother-in-law for over 20,000+ dollars. I find it kind of obnoxious how Julian is always trying to up-the-price of the ransom when he's talking with Sean. Like could you be any more obvious? He must be getting help with all this from his so-called wife, and from Natalie, Dorothy's friend and kinesiologist, or "therapist." The woman who suggested the reborn doll to bring Dorothy out of her catatonic state following Jericho's death in the first place. I assume the private investigator, Roscoe, is in on it too, but maybe only recently (after his whole ordeal). The question is why? Is it a race against time to bring the baby back to life? Or maybe a race to bring any of them back to life like Dorthy or Sean? What is the end game? Does Julian owe the cult his life or soul or something? Is someone dead who was promised re-birth? Are the on a different plain? How come everyone is only interacting when inside the Turner House? Is this real life? Is this a simulation? Why do they never leave the house? Are they in limbo? Are they in another dimension? Or is this all just some cult-type sacrifice, or perhaps Julian owes money to someone who has the ability to kill him and everyone he knows? I feel like the show is never going to answer my questions.
This tale had atmosphere and ambience; it was classy, eerie and spooky at one time. Braddock entered as a co-writer and made it a half-baked theatre farce, where it's al confusion and chaos and one misunderstanding another. The script keeps pumping hysterical attacks and jokes that never fully land. The attempt to humor falls flat, relying mostly on failed punchlines and the f-word (the brother said it 10 times in his three scenes of one episode alone).
This had a good concept but this writer has ruined it.
