I loved the show's era settings and costumes. The acting is quite solid and oftentimes excellent. And the martial arts scenes to me feel superbly done.

The show has great overall presentation and is very well done.

The only downside I can mention is the amount of problems the writers create for the main character feels forced and unnatural. There are a times where you just wish the main character, his family, and you the viewer had a few more moments of peace.

But everything else is really well done and nothing has slowed me from watching episodes one after the next.

The show, beyond the above writing 'flaw' I mentioned, is gripping and vastly more engaging for me than most TV shows.

This is one of the best action tv shows I've ever seen. All the cast are presented very well and also acting is great. Action scenes are truly beautiful and visually attracting. Speaking about the story, it's really well-organized and impressing, combined with some love stories as well. Watch this, if you love action-historical tv shows or movies!

This show is amazingly made, and the actors are chosen almost perfectly for their roles, and it portrays huo yuanjia's life and character in a very enriched way, the plot is balanced, the fights are special, and the emotions ar overwhelming.

Totally hooked from the first episode!! Vincent Zhao finally shine as the master was meant to be . Best version of all Hua yuenjia so far, even better the orginal legendary fok from 1981. Can easily see the team behind this is full of passion and respect for this folk hero !! The dialogue are so well done and powerful. And the martial arts are very well done as well .

A great movie

This is one of the best action movies I've ever watched, and I'm not usually a fan of action movies. I love the begining and I just love the way it ended. The fight scenes are just pleasing to watch, not to talk about the moral values it had to instill. Seriously, kudos 👍 on this great movie; l learnt a lot from it.

Direction is poor.

Best example:We started with a german,a japanese and a french who need a chinese language interpreter and...suddenly they're speaking chinese fluently?

The story is good.

Wenzhuo Zhao is very good.

Chunzhong Zhang is a terrible actor.

Fight scene is awesome.

The rest is...rest. Good but not that good!
