This show really should of never been commissioned. Crude for the sake of it, unfunny, awful canned fake laughter and badly planned. Stick to acting or presenting as this isn't for you Emily.

It's so bad. Cringe to watch really. Her stand up gags are basically jokes about her being a tart and having lots of sex. That and jokes about willies. Her impressions are terrible too. I didn't exhale slightly harder once let alone laugh. Don't bother with this tripe

This show is so awful it can only be described as watching an unfunny relative tell a meandering story filled with boring ancodotes. It's literally like watching your sister trying to tell a joke after you have told her she isn't funny. It's a real shame as Emily is likeable in general but not in this show!

I wasn't bothered at all how many times she mentioned willies or how many people she said she'd slept with etc, I didn't find it any more vulgar than many male comedians, and I didn't find it offensive - it just wasn't funny.
But it was SO unfunny that it made me cringe. Physically. The sketches were terrible, some of the stand up could've been ok if it'd been delivered by someone else perhaps but her delivery is so forced and unnatural it's hard to watch.
I'd say you should watch an episode just to see how bad it is, but that might encourage ITV to keep recommissioning it..

Whoever gave Emily Atack the idea she is funny has a lot to answer for.
I endured one episode of this and will never again.
Atack is not funny at all. She is smarmy and basically does the same routine over and over again. Obviously she thinks more of herself than her audience, and the only way to get laughs into her routine is to use canned laughter.

The whole premise of this show appears to be to portray herself in as vulgar a way as possible. It's not in the least bit funny, it's crass, cringeworthy & vulgar.

Put simply, this show is absolutely pathetic. Who decided it would be a good idea to use canned laughter? The jokes are awful and it never fails to cut to the audience in hysterics. Clearly the audience laughter is old footage, from other stand up comics. I can't believe this is on TV. Some of the sketch ideas are ok (like the girls looking like 'goblins' next to the 'fit' friend) but the actors just aren't funny.

Emily is like a modern day Bridget Jones! Thoroughly enjoyed this.
As a 30 year old female could totally relate to Emily!
I feel that the bad reviews are left by 40+ people, boring settled down types who cannot relate to the sketches/jokes and lacking a sense of humour!

I don't know why this gets such bad ratings on IMDB it's really not that bad. I suspect this is a reflection on the reviewers (who struggle to relate to the issues of a young woman) rather than the show itself.
It may not always be laugh out loud funny but it's actually quite refreshing to get stand up from a young woman. Her observational humour is spot on, her comedy is irreverent, self-effacing and MODERN.
A fresh take on comedy is a positive.
Not all of the gags and sketches stick but comedy is hard, and this is real and honest. I think the first season is better than the second.

Ok the inbetweeners ended 11 years ago, she was cast because she had an ample bosom, she was a terrible actress in that but because it was a popular show she profited by proxy.
As you can tell by her career since, B movies, average TV shows she isn't a "good actor" as they work, she's just a recognised person who they desperately hire in the hope people will want to see her.
I'm all for equality but this girl is untalented, vulgar, not creative, no timing, vapid, narcissistic and just dull. Her "jokes" are so stale and played out it's unbelievable, the crowd is obviously planted as no people are laughing at that.
I stopped watching celebrity juice because of her to, she's just so desperate to look fun and interesting and dirty, but she's just awful tv, that show will end up off air next as it's borderline unwatchable.
I'd like a rep for ITV to explain how they commissioned this after the awful first series? It scored poorly, was unpopular and so what's the deal?
Imagine getting a whole career of having slightly bigger norks.

Sorry but this show is very bad indeed. Awfully lame impressions, sketches that should be left on the edit floor. Stand up that is just as bad!
I note there are up to 18 writers who have contributed to this absolute car crash comedy sketch show including Emily herself. I imagine the budget is quite small but heavens, hire some good comic writers. Makes you wonder if she would have her own show if her slightly funnier relatives were not once popular.
Avoid at all costs, do something better with your time.

A comedy without humour. Easy on the eye but the show is best off watched on mute. I only came across this show waiting for Family Guy to start, i wish i hadn't kept it on because i can't erase the cringe from my mind.

Girl actually thinks because she is loud and makes dirty remarks she's funny, this is worse than loose women!! Avoid at all costs. The jokes aren't clever the impressions are weak just genuinely shocked it's on tv, clearly another case of show bosses trying to cater to a demographic of watches that doesn't exist.

This show is about as funny as inserting your own cathather. When itv posted on facebook the promotional video for the latest series the comment section was absolutely hilarious. There wasn't a single positive comment regarding the new series. Itv kept reposting new promo vids for the show because the comments were so bad, but the next upload recieved the same comments. Ive never known a show to be so widely hated by every single person and get another season. When I watch it I actually pity her. She really thinks she's funny and she is just humiliating herself. Not a single joke is funny and her delivery is absolutely pathetic.

It's actually kind of impressive this show has withstood all the criticism and secured a THIRD season. The amount of comedians that could make an incredibly funny show and would jump at the opportunity, but ITV have settled on a show held in incredibly bad light, and it's held in such a bad light because its simply not funny. Emily could easily be part of a show like this. It's just blindingly obvious she can't carry a show on her own.
The jokes are ridiculously childish, repetitive and predictable, it feels like the show was written by schoolkids. It'd make sense to give this slot to someone that can actually do something with it.
