Did anyone notice the interior of the house?
mja5812 February 2021
This was a typical LMN movie - like cotton candy, sticky but fun. Vivica Fox always adds a touch of class to these movies.

What stuck me was the number of religious items in the background of Vivica and daughter's house. It made it seem that the house was formerly a convent.

Who doesn't love a Vivica Lifetime movie
maelipscomb31 October 2021
I liked this movie a lot. The bad guy was really good in his role. Vivica looked amazing! Even though you already know what is going to happen, I liked the way it played out. This was a good Saturday night chill movie.

VIEWS ON FILM review of The Wrong Real Estate Agent
burlesonjesse59 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
"Just be careful". People say that a lot in the film I'm about to review. OK I get it. I said I get it!

Anyway, it isn't a "Wrong" Lifetime movie unless there's a single mother whose husband left her or died. It isn't a "Wrong" Lifetime movie unless Vivica A. Fox says that infamous line (you know which one I'm talking about). It isn't a "Wrong" Lifetime movie unless there's that annoying best friend who's always giving binding advice. Finally, it isn't a "Wrong" Lifetime movie unless the antagonist gets away with multiple kills while the police seem patently dumbfounded.

The Wrong Real Estate Agent is my latest write-up. It's about a mom and her daughter who buy a house not knowing that the dude that sold them said house is a complete whack job. The whack job in question reveals himself to be disturbed and jittery right off the bat. It's amazing that the sussed damsel played by Vivica A. Fox didn't pick up on that earlier on.

"Agent" is directed by Lifetime enthusiast and veritable Lifetime lifer, David DeCoteau. Feeling like an overripe whodunit for the first 45 minutes, The Wrong Real Estate Agent features three totally off male characters in the form of a spastic ex-boyfriend, a weirdo next door neighbor, and an arrogant handy man. Sadly in the Lifetime world, no one has the capacity to just be freaking normal.

Creep-o's begot, The Wrong Real Estate Agent changes it up by having Fox not play the obligatory high school principal or the snippy detective. It's a stretch but she stands out from all the hammy acting by everyone else. Overall, "Agent" is pure, trashy camp and it's a blueprint for every other Lifetime vehicle. It ain't that fine of "a piece of real estate". Natch.

Honestly maybe the best 'Wrong'
CranberriAppl18 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
There's a "Wrong" marathon on this MLK Day 2022, I'm watching most of them...this is probably the most solid movie in the series. I think Vivica being the lead had a lot to do w/that. Even knowing these are supposed to be campy, a lot of the characters in these flicks are very sketch so they are worse than they need to be. Vivica having a larger role than usual in this steps it up massively. The story was a typical Wrong movie, but the characters had great chemistry with each other, the conversations sounded natural and there wasn't much that was facepalm-worthy.

One thing I liked is that Vivica was smart enough to keep Charles at arms length from the beginning, even before knowing how deranged he was. I hate when the protagonists ignore all the signs and ignore their friends and family's warnings or feelings and, in turn, get those people killed. At least here, Vivica never led him on, never gave him mixed signals, and it was nice to see the opposite of nearly all Lifetime movies.

It really sucks that Vivica's potential new man was murdered. Yeah it showed how unhinged Charles was, but it still sucked. It was nice to see the detective from Charmed. Nice blast from the past. I think the body count in this movie was too high.

There's really nothing here that is unpredictable since it's a stalker movie, but I've watched it a couple of times. The ending was weak and could have been better. Tired of these villains getting away. It serves no purpose other than to annoy the audience. The description makes the home in the movie sound set on acreage, so I wish we were able to see more of the property, especially since the theme is real estate.

One criticism I have is that with Vivica being the actual main character here, Eric Roberts should have 100% been in this movie lol. Rib Hillis was in it, so no Eric R was a missed opportunity. Even as a rando client.

Campy dialogue throughout
Xavier_Stone3 January 2021
Just really bad and you can tell from the first 5 minutes. I skipped ahead and it just doesn't get any better. Total time watching this maybe 12 minutes, nothing especially good happens, predictable and the actors will drive you crazy before too long.

The Wrong Place and the Wrong Time
lavatch4 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
In "The Wrong Real Estate Agent," Julie Fields and her daughter Maddie move into a beautiful home courtesy of her colleague at work. From the outset, the house feels spooky and for good reason. Charles, who is the wrong real estate agent, has the place bugged, and he is monitoring every move of the unsuspecting Julie.

The incomparable Miss Vivica A. "Lifetime" Fox plays the role of Julie, and the costume designer has gone the extra mile to give Miss Fox a stunning wardrobe. In almost every scene, there is a new outfit, which undoubtedly has an effect of driving the obsessive-compulsive Charles wild with desire.

A weakness of the film was in the pacing that was far too sluggish. The long, drawn-out scenes were hampered as well with the slowness of Julie to figure out that the creepy Charles was whipt. The couple had a friendship in the past, but Julie never recognized the danger signs of this deeply troubled soul.

There was also too much senseless violence and collateral damage in the deaths of the handyman Connor, the nosy neighbor TJ, and the nice man Ron whom Julie met on a dating site.

The film's ending was disappointing as well. It was completely implausible that the police were unable to locate Charles, leaving the door wide open for "The Wrong Real Estate Agent, Part II."

Should have had a better ending.
tomfsloan9 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The Wrong Real Estate Agent. Spoilers here. Not too bad. One of the better Vivica movies. She actually had a lot of screen time in this one. The plot was a variation of your typical stalker/lustful/infatuation packed movie. It must have been fun to play the role of crazy Charles. I'm sure most actors enjoy playing the bad guy. I would. Generally an entertaining movie despite a number of stupid parts. Such as Ron's stabbing scene was dumb. Charles is standing there with a knife. So what does Ron do? He lunges at him! Brilliant. The climatic ending was quite lame. But the final "surprise" scene was really lame. Enjoy the first hour and ten minutes. It's downhill after that.

Can't go wrong with vivica
freshtomatoreviews13 January 2022
These Lifetime movies should be renamed to "Vivica A Fox cinematic universe", and that's a compliment from me! I wonder tho, with the somewhat open-ending with the easter egg style, does this movie have a sequel?

What can I say
melanie-1192719 October 2022
There is fluff and there is fluff. I mean I do enjoy a bit of Channel 5 afternoon fluff occasionally. It's good to switch off, but this was bad. I can't believe I actually wasted an afternoon watching this.

There were more holes in the plot than Swiss cheese and the acting was appalling. I mean, Vivica continually overacted with the rolling eyes, especially when she leaped out of bed in the night. The nosy neighbour next door was also really bad with the overacting in the way he leapt up behind the bushes.

I thought the young girl was OK and her boyfriend. A pity it wasn't more about them and less of Vivica. I thought Ron was OK as well. Other than that it was just absolute rubbish.

Overall, it was disjointed, I didn't care about the characters because of the bad acting and it was just really lame. I mean, two minutes in and you knew who it was. So all I can say is lame.

Confused?
jaredfells18 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So, no one ever checked on the nosy neighbor TJ? I mean, the dude was obviously killed while in the shower, so why all of a sudden not check up on him or mention anything else about him?

VIVICA IS THE MAIN CHARACTER WOO
aprilsfriendorin27 January 2021
FINALLY, a wrong movie where Vivica gets to be the main character! Look, don't get me wrong, I'm happy with Vivica's side characters, like when she plays the helpful principal or trusted confidant of the main white woman. But this is like... getting to have a full chocolate cake instead of just a cupcake, you know? It was a real treat. They need to make Vivica the star more often, because she OWNS it. I actually had to go to the hospital after watching because this gave me a heart attack of pure joy.

It wouldn't be a "Wrong" movie without Vivica A. Fox
Chartreuse110 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This one was pretty good, though. She and her daughter move into a house that was sold to her by a realtor that she works with way below market. That part of the plot is a little too convenient and made me suspicious right away. Was he just being nice? You will have to watch to find out. Andres Londono quite good as Charles.

Andre Londonos steals the scene
coltras352 September 2022
Julie (Vivica A. Fox) and her teenage daughter, Maddie, rent a beautiful house on several acres of land from Charles, a real estate agent(Andres Londonos) they know well and who lives nearby. However, after they move in, strange noises and occurrences lead them to suspect someone else may be living on their property.

Decent lifetime thriller with some creepy factor and good performances, especially by Andres Londonos whose personality takes a total u-turn. It came as a surprise. Of course, there's some contrived scenes, but it's all for a fun show. There's some good twist and turns. A prospective suitor for the leading lady getting killed. A killer who likes to slap his face and twist his facial muscles as he watches Vivica and her daughter via a screen.
