The Body Bag game, Eagles defense dominates in a 28-14 win!
Being a life long "Philadelphia Eagles" fan this game played on 11-12-1990 against the "Washington Redskins" on "ABC's", "MNF" was highly memorable and enjoyed as a Birds fan. I was just in the 7th grade and I remember sitting up past my bedtime to watch this game, a critical midseason game that the Eagles needed to win at the Vet. The first half was back and fourth with the game being tied at 7-7 at the half. Now enter the 3rd quarter which won the game for the Eagles as they would explode for 21 points, Buddy and the Eagles D would come alive with the blitz and the pass rush, and turnovers would lead to points as DE Clyde Simmons returned a fumble for a TD! Plus late legendary Reggie White had a game, he got a sack and also return a tipped ball got a pick and set up another TD! Plus both Redskins QB's were knocked out of the game! And backup RB Brian Mitchell had to take over the game! This was the glory days of the gang green defense with Buddy, Reggie and Clyde at their best, clearly this was one of the greatest Eagles games of all time!
