I really enjoyed it. (Very short)

Immediately I could feel how perfectly the music was integrated with each frame and each cut. There is a shot where the hero moves down the corridor toward the cam with a bright back light coming from the window at the far end of the corridor.... straight from the Kubrick playbook, but without all the apparatus... nice. The bedroom wide shots are superb and so unexpected . Almost everything in the bedroom is wide and it works very well , heightening the sense of claustrophobia and confinement. What interested me is how, despite that, in a sense, nothing happens, it still seems to build to a suspenseful climax, but this sense is achieved almost entirely through the shooting, which, on the face of it, is not possible, and yet, there it is. the most perverse thing is that, in hard times, facing a crisis, Americans take refuge in the pop culture of games, booze, pets, in general numbing things and entertainment, it is not the Decameron. this devotion is embedded in the language.Over all a small documentation of the bizarre time of Covid and how contemporary values that are devoid of prayer and profundity nevertheless did not kill everyone in the end.
