I've cried so, so much - and laughed through my tears

Honestly I almost didn't watch this, but I'm so, so glad I did.

The first episode laid me and Hubby out. I was nearly sobbing at times. But it really hit its stride.

Some episodes are more successful than others.

But even the lesser ones are entertaining. And the best ones are magical.

While initially in Portuguese, they've over dubbed the voices.

The hosts have very different styles and strengths.

And Brazilian burlesque and drag worlds are literally a world away. Its like a travelog and a makeover show all at once.

Think Queer Eye for drag kings and queens.

Magnificent!

I just loved all the episodes and the importance of all representativeness of drag, be they queen, king or queer. The presenters have incredible chemistry, the stories are exciting, looking forward to a second season <3

Amazing in all possible ways

This series brings up some really important discussions such as the difficulty to accept your own physical appearance and prejudice from society. I simply loved it! All episodes show the barriers of their drag queens and king and how do they overcome those by showing their incredible strengths at the end of each episode.

Two Queens

I am a big fan of drag art, but as a demissexual cis gender woman I don't have much to say about it, so most of the time I just watch and learn.

I've seen a great potential in both Gloria and Alexia right in the first episode, when they stepped out of the "competition" zone that are present in so many drag races and bring more a helpful approaching to whoever needs their help. They are real godmothers!

Give this show a chance to learn and listen other people's struggles. Brazil is so diverse, I'm sure you'll love to get to know all those beautiful souls and what they've gone through.

Being a Brazilian gives me the chance of saying one thing or two: Brazil is extremely sexist and it is not easy to be either women or homosexual. I feel sad for the trans people because most of them are at the edge of society specially in the countryside, and being a drag is something that we hardly see going around.

The program is set in the most important city of South America (economically speaking), Sao Paulo, but so many people are from other places. So you'll get different views of this huge country that its know only by specific places, like Rio. And you'll probably learn something new, just like I did!
