I saw this last month at the 2008 Palm Springs International Short Fest. This is very short and simple story with no dialog and shot in black and white but it's a fun and whimsical film and it works well. Jim (Eric Rasmussen) is angry over a parking ticket until he gets a look at the parking enforcement officer who put the ticket on his windshield. Jim hatches a misguided and expensive plan to try to get to know Kate (Criss Turner). Jeremy Brunjes is the film's writer/director/ producer/editor and share cinematography credit Deniz Buga. Buga also has a small on screen role. This is the sixth short form Brunjes who is currently enrolled at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts in the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television. I would give this a 7.0 out of 10 and would be interested in seeing some of Brunjes' other shorts and will expect to see more of him in the future.
