The coffee shop scene has a number of continuity errors. One of the most obvious also involves a running "product placement" seen in a number of episodes of the show. When Chelsea and Charlie are talking, Charlie is sitting in front of a counter where there's a large cookie container. At screen left is a man in a dark grey T-shirt, and also behind Charlie is a box or low counter with a couple of cans of Cafe Pilon clearly visible. Suddenly, in one cut to Charlie, there are at least 12 cans of Pilon visible behind Charlie, and a large "Cafe Bustelo" sign on the counter, with the cookie container and the grey-shirted extra still in view. (Pilon and Bustelo are two brands of Cuban-style coffee made by the same company. Both have characteristic yellow and red labels, PIlon more red, Bustelo more yellow.)
As Charlie and Chelsea are talking in the coffee shop, the caramel swirl lines in Charlie's shake keep changing.
