Warning: Spoilers
As with seasons past, once again the writers go to a teen-aged ghost, with next to no success. This time the haunted is a girl who seems to have vampire fantasies. while the spirit is an acquaintance of hers on whom he developed a crush. Not a whole lot is presented to understand her hang up; she just seems to be a ditz.

He wants her dead so they can be together, and somehow lures her to a cemetery mausoleum in which he locks her, apparently the idea is that she will suffocate. Guess no one told the writers they aren't hermetically sealed. Of course, Mel comes to the rescue, she's saved and recants her idiocy, and he goes off to the light.

This is an example of how the quality of shows had dipped by the end of the 4th year. Things only get worse in the 5th with Aiden, the "Book of Changes," and the Shinies and Shadows. A dropping audience and competition from "Law and Order" pretty much were the death blow.

BTW, as the Trivia post points out, this is Sam's last appearance in the series. No more reflections in mirrors or windows. Guess the writers figured the viewers were used to seeing Jim's body by then, even though it had been buried long ago.
