Rarely have I ever seen a film as ridiculously disjointed and as utterly pointless as this one is. Red letter day - worst film of 2019 by far!

To say this is a story-telling mess is to understate the case exponentially. There is no narrative that makes any kind of sense at all - unless perhaps you're perpetually wrecked on mushrooms. Like the so-called "director" and "screenwriters" clearly were.

Even their shill review efforts failed miserably here on imdb.

Andrew...take a good hard look in the mirror and then engage in some serious soul-searching. You're clearly in the wrong business and I'm sorry but utter trash like this is not going to get you anywhere.

This is one of those rare pieces of irredeemable trash that actually gets lower than my bare minimum imdb score of 3. Good job. My 2 star rating here is given purely out of sympathy to the cast and crew - none of you deserved this and hopefully you will all move on from this pile of feces.

"I See You" directed by Andrew Schuth is a Lost Cause in short! Shambolic editing, Pretentious plot & Overall a cheap presentation even for a found footage film. The story takes on the character arc of a Pervert, Misogynistic Guy called Steve; who loves to record everything he does in his life, including the hatred towards those woman who don't go on his way and a handful of sinister intentions he possesses inside his frickle mind. From the premise, it doesn't look that bad to be honest. Had it been properly executed; it could have atleast be a better movie to remember. But sloppy screenplay alongside Director's over smart approach ruined any feasible potential whatsoever. The ensembled cast did an average job though especially when considering it's an Indie project. Other than that nothing is of redeemable quality, hence I highly suggest you to skip this one as it would certainly be nothing but a time waste.

This film had a lot of high rated reviews before the score came up, go figure. The film itself was okay, done in a decent way but could have been a hole lot better. On about better, some have stated that thus was better than The Blair witch Project, NO, definitely not. The film was a let down in the end, I was expecting a film that was a lot better what I saw but alas it was not. So anyone who is going to watch this film, don't listen to the false ratings as these are Done with people who are associated with the film. Watch it with an open mind but don't expect anything special.

Took it for a different movie with the same name, released in the same year. Started watching it thinking the same. Took me some time to realize that it's different. Still kept watching It. Bad acting, boring start. Avoid it.

Sweet jesus...did I mistake this for the "I see you" starring Helen Hunt. I had no idea what the plot was, I got lost in the timeline 6 mins into the movie never to recover. it's like a bunch of school kids who made a movie. who is giving this 9/10 and 10/10 ?! they need to have a drill go through their face

Meaningless piece with no sense of direction. I've managed through really bad movies, even ones mostly shot with cell phones but this takes the cake. I wanted to see the movie with the same title starring Helen Hunt but somehow I ended up with this load of crap. If only I could back the hands of time....

This Film Makes My Physically Angry

First off, there is a big budget movie starring Helen Hunt that I was looking for when I came across this mistake of a film instead.

I watched the whole thing unfortunately, maybe to punish myself for some horrific sin I am unaware of because that is what watching this film feels like. Punishment.

The problem is not the fact that the film is low budget and unoriginal. The issue is the writing, acting, and directing. No character is likable, you're not sure who you're rooting for, the story-line skips around over and over again so you're never really sure what is happening and what came first. It is a absolute mess.

I am under the impression that the idea behind the making of this film was a hot, dirty pleasure, murder mystery, love-triangle, thing. But it doesn't come across that way. The actor's performances are terrible, gross even. The audience isn't really given a likable character at all, everyone just generally sucks. It would make sense if the main character was the creepy weirdo and so the audience followed him and he then developed characteristics that made him somewhat likable or redeemable, or maybe we just aren't supposed to be rooting for him and instead rooting for his end. But there is none of that. The writing just does not make sense and it isn't smart.

The worst part is, is that you really get a sense of horrific pride from the actors and creators. I am assuming it was created by a narcissist because, wow, it's insane.

It's just, aggravating to watch the whole thing, it makes no sense. It's like if you had a fever dream in the early 2000s while you were sick and couldn't wake up. It's bad. Just Bad.

Really really!!!!! This is a 10 to these reviewers. Calling it awesome, wow and thriller ride. Well, most of those reviewers only have reviewed this one movie so they are either totally fake bots or they worked on this movie. It's getting to be a joke to check out reviews on this site because they are so fake. I need to find another place to check out films. Oh and this movie don't even bother.

Since earlier this film days had been spammed with 10/10 fake reviews, (you can even find a clear cut date before which its filled with all 9/10 -10/10 robotic reviews and after which all 1/10 to 3/10 rants), as a long time IMDB user adding my contribution to balance out the fake score.

Even though the ending was dull that could have been better, it still rocks and I'm so impressed that Brian Kimmet was part of the 3 main cast, he's hilarious.

This film was so poorly executed that after 20 minutes we turned it off. I turned it on later by myself thinking that it would get better. Well, after 10 minutes I started fast forwarding here and there because it was such a mess I thougt that eventually a plot (or anything close to it) would emerge. This is 90 minutes of your life you will never get back. Go and toothbrush clean the grout in the shower. You'll enjoy it better than this

I'm sorry but how and why is such garbage like this even considered movie material ? As previously mentioned by other reviews, the shaking hand held camera literally gives you a headache, and the 'authentic' audio is not only bloody annoying it's totally unnecessary. Story line... Non existent. I managed 19 minutes before I started to drink whisky. How other reviewers give this anything over 2 stars is not only nonsense, it's totally fake. Do yourself a favour, start drinking your whisky before you switch this rubbish on, that way hopefully, you're gonna fall asleep before 19 minutes.

A guy buys a camera at a garage sale and plugs it into his computer and gets a disjointed history. The camera belonged to Steve, a midlevel data entry creeper from Wisconsin. Rick is his disgusting roommate who steals his girlfriend. The film is not chronological and contains murders. The killer was too obvious.

One of the worst found footage films out there without Bigfoot. Why even bother? We know it is not real to begin with, so why even try?

Guide: F-word. Brief sex. Brief partial nudity.

I don't understand the plot at all. It jumps around from one timeline to another. It tries to be a horror thriller but it just ends up being super annoying. It is a showcase of everything a film should not be!

I really enjoyed this scary movie. I'm not usually one to watch scary things, bit I liked this movie. It's very well done and suspenseful. It kept me engaged not wanting to look away from the screen for a second.

Next to impossible to follow. No idea what the plot is, let alone the ending because I turned it off.
