The episode had a bunch of dramatic action moments that made us worry a lot. One is Archie's girlfriend being shot. Now she is in the hospital and he has to deal with worrying about her dying.
And then Carter also had a critical moment. I am pretty sad that it goes this way. I was hoping just to watch Carter do his work. Instead he is sick and may die. I get that they want to give him a great story for the ending, but I was kind of hoping to see more of the "old times".
It is also interesting to watch Sam and her mother dealing with each other. A pretty moving story.
And I liked the little reality TV part they had in the show. Tells us more about ER work. Was also wonderful they emphasized the importance of other workers that aren't doctors and nurses. That gave us also some fun moments with Jerry and Frank.
