I love how Symon cooks, simple & delicious! However, I think his wife should sit back and watch "Symons show"along with the rest of us. I watch the show to see Symon, Not Liz! Every time she comes out I turn the channel. I really think that she should be behind the scenes and not out front with Symon. Besides that Awesome show with some of the best recipes!

I absolutely love the show. I love the way he cooks on the grills & he shows you how to do everything. He always explains everything.
I love the little tips that he gives before a commercial break. Those are very helpful !! I've actually started grilling more of my dishes.
Love the cute camera girl, but his wife needs to go. She's rather irritating. She kind of takes over. She she wears weird, unflattering clothing that makes her look rather unprofessional. I'd rather see Liv make cocktails and have Liz sit off to the side and just watch lol.
I hope the show has many, many more seasons because I really enjoy watching Michael's show. I have it on auto record ....lol.

I have watched Michael Symon for many, many years, always loved his recipes and gentle manner.
I was so happy to see that he was hosting and sharing his secrets with us, the viewers, at home cooks. He is truly a spectacular chef.
Initially, it seemed inclusive that his wife was joining in with cocktails and salads, or desserts(which in the end, he took over the food aspect) but once she started to delegate, and encourage him to leave the scene so Liv could have her portion on screen, I found Liz to be super annoying, and entitled.
I would have loved this, if Liz stuck with the cocktails, and didn't take over the show.
No offence to Michael, but I truly enjoyed just his cooking skills.

I totally agree with the previous review . I find Symon's wife to be irritating and intrusive , thus my rating . In fact , in one of the episodes , she scolded him for what she perceived to be an interruption. She needs to stay out of this show !
Symon's explanations are clear , concrete , informative showing his wealth of knowledge and profesional expertise . A total pleasure!!

I think this is one of the better cooking shows on the Food Network. Michael, his wife Liz, and the camerawoman, Liv, all seem very natural and at ease. It doesn't seem so "staged" like some of the other cooking shows. He explains everything very well and gives alternative ingredients which I appreciate. I hope they continue to film episodes In their kitchen and backyard and keep it out of a studio.
