Intensity levels are turned up. Great episode.

Another attempt is made on the life of DS Patrick Flynn. DCI Carey changes her mind over who's potentially responsible for the crimes, and decides to let rip at her superiors over the state of things.

Super exciting, super fast paced, action packed edge of the seat viewing, maybe a little tough to follow or fathom at times.

I have to be honest, I re-watched Series one, for my money, this second series has been even better so far.

Considering this is the third episode, the mid way point as it were, I was expecting there to be something of a lull, there truly wasn't, this continued the impressive standard set by the first two episodes.

I loved the visuals, this looked incredibly good, credit to those involved in the making of it. The scenes at the hospital looked so, so good.

9/10.

Extremely good TV, especially for BBC

This episode was ridiculously tense, after the first half hour I thought the episode was about to finish but then it just keeps going. Consistently excellent production values, brilliant writing, I love the soundtrack and night-vibes photography too. Always a pleasure to see the excellent magician and all-round nice guy Andy Nyman as the Home Secretary. I normally find BBC stuff too theatrical and 'acted', directors are usually poor at having the confidence and drive to really make a story come to life. Here though it's a different level, it reminds me of the good ol' days of 24. Top notch gripping stuff, and nightmare-fuel if you consider the very real implications of what's going on. Tremendous stuff, congrats to all involved.

Charlie Foxtrot

Security minister Isaac Turner has committed career suicide live on television and expected to stay quiet.

Newscarer Khadija Khan agrees to be compliant and cooperate with DSU Gemma Garland.

DCI Carey has made a deal with both Turner and Khan. She suspects that not only someone has infiltrated the BBC but also the unit she works for.

Correction is everywhere and Yan Wanglei and his organisation might just be scapegoats.

It certainly is getting convoluted and exciting. Assassins who manage to hide themselves from CCTV cameras.

There is a grander conspiracy at play and a reasonable explanation as to just what Frank Napier was doing in hospital.
